ACCIDENTALLY ITS A DATE

"Dad,I'm going to grab something to eat and see if there is any part time job out there.. "Said Caitlin while she put on her shoes.

Her father raised his eyebrow questioning her.Caitlin going out was the thing that he hated the most, he did not like Caitlin get too close with strangers.

"Daddy I'll be back in few hours, I promise i will go straight homes after that" Caitlin said. She love her father and of course she understand why he obsessed in protecting her.

"How I'm gonna believe in you?"

"You should because I'm your daughter..."Said Caitlin as she grabbed her jacket.

"Hold up, are you wearing a skirt right now?i want you to change it with something more appropriate or you cannot go out"

Caitlin rolled her eyes "it's not even short dad"Said Caitlin annoyingly. Her father gave her a looked.

"Fine ok i'll change it..ughhh"Caitlin throw her hands up, sighing.

'I'm the one who wearing it not him so it's up to me whether to keep it or change it 'Caitlin keet mumbling while searching for a new pair of jeans.

This is why Ronnie is the only guy she's dating no other guy could stand it with her father obsession

She found it and change it.

"Well happy?"Caitlin ask her father while twirling in front of him, making smiley face.

"Good..you need to"
"be home before 10 pm,call you every 30 minutes, do not turn off my phone and no strangers...dad I get it okay don't worry you've been telling me the same rule"

Her father shrugged his shoulder and continued to read his newspaper. Caitlin rolled her eyes and stepped out from their house.

Their house is not far from town so that is why she prefer to walk rather than call a taxi.

Caitlin pulled her ring out from her purse and wear it. She cannot show it to her father yet he'll be hella mad.

She smile while looking at her ring,she couldn't believe she will marry her dream guy.Ronnie.

Caitlin started to walk faster while humming to a song she like.Holding tight to her bag.She arrive at town after 10 minutes.

"I hope I could get a job here" she said while she entered a cafe.

She turned her head when she heard someone call her name and saw Iris.

"Hi"They hugged each other. "Caitlin what are you doing here?where is Ronnie? ask Iris.She never get to called Ronnie after he came back.

"He is out of town right now, nowadays he so busy even he will ignore me"Caitlin said while she sat beside Iris.

"Sorry this is Eddie , my boyfriend."

Caitlin look at the young guy infront of her,suddenly Barry came into her thoughts. She shook her head. "so you that lucky guy."Iris chuckle and look at Eddie.

"So you want to orders anything, coffee? we just ordered ours."Caitlin wave her hand telling no.

"No it's fine actually i come here to see if there is any part time job available, its time for me to make some money for myself..."

Eddie look at Iris "You work here as a manager you can help her.."He said.Iris look at Caitlin "Yeah I can help you but still you need to follow rules means I need to send your application to the owner's first."

"Really?Thank you Iris,I owe you.."Iris smile.

Barry walked to the cafe,he is late again. His eyes searching for Iris, they promised to eat lunch together with Eddie.

The moment Barry saw Iris , his heart skipped a beat, there is Caitlin.

"Hey I'm sorry I'm late"Said Barry as he sat down.His eyes never leave Caitlin.

"Hi Barry"Caitlin smile.

"Hey..where is Ronnie?"

"He is out of town for awhile got something to do"Iris look at Barry giving him a sign to stop staring at Caitlin.

"So Caitlin we're going to the bowling alley after this, you want to join? I mean you can be my partner "Barry suggested ignoring Iris.

Caitlin look at her phone"Yeah Sure..why not?" She said.

"This is one of my favorite places in the world" Said Barry as he walked beside Caitlin "Oh really?"Caitlin look at Barry. "Yes"He said . awkward silence until Iris interrupted them. "Hey guys it's here" waving her hand.

Both Barry and Cailtin join Eddie and Iris."You know how to play?" ask Iris to Caitlin.She smile awkwardly and shook her head "Nope my first time here,"She said while sitting on the bench.

"Barry can teach...no I mean I can teach you"She wanted to slap her face.She need to make sure Barry and Caitlin are not too close with each other.

Barry sat beside Caitlin "I can teach her.."

Iris rolled her eyes as she walk to the front, grabbed a bowling ball and got ready to roll the ball.

The hit was perfect, all the pins fell."You saw that Barry.. that's defeat"She pointed at Barry while laughing.

"you never told me you such a fan of bowl"Said Eddie smiling at Iris."Sure its one of my favorite places in the world".

Barry dance after he hit all the pins.

"Im impressed Barry.."Caitlin clapped her hands in delight.

"well still I'm the best "Iris said to Barry.

"Eddie your up man.."Barry grabbed Caitlin hands and pulled her to sit beside him.Its involuntary.

Iris look at Barry and Caitlin,she try not to overthinking and enjoy the fun

"oh shit.."Eddie cursed under his breath.

"Its fine Baby..I will win for us"Iris wink at Barry.He just smile and shook his head. "Caitlin it's your turn"Caitlin shook her head "I really don't know how to play.."Barry pull Caitlin arms and asked her to grab one of the bowling ball.

"The objective of this game is you just need to make sure the bowling ball is on the lane the entire length and hit as many pins as possible, insert your fingers here..."Iris watched as Barry
showed Caitlin how to stand, hold the ball and make delivery.

Barry looked at Caitlin as she rolled her ball down the alley.It almost stiff-looking.

It knocked down three pins and left seven standing."It's okay, Caitlin"Barry said. "I bet you'll pick up them on the next try ".Caitlin smile at him.

Both Barry and Eddie excuse themselves, leaving Iris and Caitlin.
