that was probably the day jihoon felt the strongest sense of satisfication and exuberence. his hard work spending his time studying his ass off awarded him a spot among five students in the whole university.
oh, and a famous singer offered jihoon an appointment, wanting to hear his latest music.
this was definitely jihoon's best day.
as he hummed along to the tune of 'simple', jihoon slowly removed his contacts from the casing and placed them in his eyes, blinking furiously after and adjusting to his vision.
"hey jihoon!!" a familiar voice called out to jihoon as a tall figure swung his arms around the shorter.
"did you miss me? i'm back from australia!!" the younger excitedly exclaimed, as jihoon let out a grin.
"my favourite junior, mingyu, you got replaced by chan and seungkwan," jihoon jokingly shrugged his shoulders and laughed, watching mingyu's face fall into a frown.
"i'm joking. how was your overseas project?" the elder ruffled mingyu's hair.
"well, i want to die. the amount of english that bombarded me got me sooooo close to dying." mingyu exaggerated, his fingers snapping the air.

as jihoon entered the biology lab with his freshly combed wet hair, he earned several stares from the girls sitting at the back of the room.
"what happened to jihoon? he actually looks good." a girl whispered loudly, before getting slapped by her friend when jihoon turned over to look at them.
time is slowly draining jihoon's patience as everyone continued whispering when soonyoung took his seat beside the younger.
"nice contacts." soonyoung stated, pulling out his worksheets from the previous day and shifting his position to find a comfortable angle for him to doze off in.
"it's pissing me off how people are whispering about me." jihoon rolled his eyes, glaring at whoever happened to walk past and gawk at him.

jihoon switched off his laptop, the screen gradually turning black as he decided to tap soonyoung, who was still sleeping from the start of the lecture.
"uhm, lessons are over." jihoon said, causing soonyoung to stir and wake up, yawning as his eyes crinkled up.
