Robbie's POV
Slamming the door, Robbie groaned. It was just after two in the morning and he had finally come home. He had spent the night just driving; thinking about Victoria over and over again. She's happy. Get over it. He kept repeating in his head. Don't ruin it for Mark. He hadn't meant to of got into an argument with her. He was full of jealousy, watching mark and Victoria tease each other was unbearable. Victoria was perfect to him, she is passionate, opinionated, kind, sophisticated but aggressive. Bet she's good in bed. He thought, smiling momentarily before physically slapping himself. He had switched off his phone for the night and was surprised to off noticed 6 new messages, 5 voicemails and Ten missed calls all from the same person. "Vicky." He said aloud. He decided to read the messages first. All of them similar "Robbie where are you? Answer your phone we need to talk." Or "Rob I'm sorry. Come over, Mark and I wanted a chat." Next he decided to check his voice mails. Again, all asking where he was. He decided to eventually call her back. "Rob!" She yelled down the phone before even saying hi. He hears Mark down the phone "babe, next time you yell please wake me up because you scared the hell out of me." Hearing him call Vicky 'babe' just made he feel the anger all over again. "Sorry. Go back to sleep I'll be back in a minute" Rob heard her whisper softly. "Sorry about that, where were you Rob, I have been texting and calling. Why hadn't you answered?" She asked.
"I'm sorry. I just went for a drive and turned my phone off. Only just got back."
"You were driving for that long?! It's two in the morning Rob!" She exclaimed. Robbie smiled at how worried she sounded. "Nice to know you care." He though aloud.
"Obviously I care Rob. What the hell is that supposed to mean?" She asked.
"Nothing. Just ignore it. What did you want anyway?" He replied, not wanting to get into another argument. She paused, rob imagined her leaning against a doorway contemplating on what to say, chewing her lip like she always does when thinking. She eventually sighed "we need to talk. Just you and I. Coffee tomorrow?" She asked hopeful. Instantly his heart warmed at the idea of it being just him and her. "Yes." He said, a bit breathy. "Ok then. Well get some rest. I'll call you tomorrow afternoon." She said before hanging up. Suddenly it dawned on him that this could mean more than just a 'chat' maybe she's just going to groan on about her and Mark. Or maybe she's leaving the band? No, Robbie thought. She wouldn't do that. Even if she does make threats.
**Flash back**
-1993-
Nigel had sat all of the band members down in a small room. He wanted to come up with ideas on how to make the band more interesting. When he had walked in he found Robbie flirting with Victoria. She wasn't having any of it. She sat at the end of the sofa arms crossed across her chest and just watched Robbie. "I'm so glad I have my library card with me Vick." He stated put an arm around her. "Why's that rob?" She asked, already smirking at him.
"Then I can check you out." He said, laughing all the same. The whole band erupted in laughter and both of them separated. Nigel clapped "nice scene there." He said which made all of them jump. "Oh hi Nigel." Robbie said scratching the back of his head in embarrassment. "Hi, I have an idea to make the band better!" He smiled brightly. Victoria found this smile unappealing, just something about him made her skin crawl. "Like always" she muttered loud enough for Robbie to hear but not anyone else. "You two" he paused, gesturing to Robbie and Victoria. "Get together." He finished, sitting down next to Gary on a separate sofa opposite Robbie and Victoria. Victoria was the first to speak, calm and gentle. "Nigel, have you ever thought about 'getting together' with your brother?" Nigel shook his head with disgust. "Well. Then you wouldn't try and get Robbie and I 'together' because our bond is just as close."
"But what was-"
"A joke. Robbie's a flirt and we all know it. Think about the fans too. I may get killed and that's not even a joke!" With that she stood up and walked out of the room.
**End of flashback**
Robbie smiled at the memory of the teenager him flirting aimlessly with her. That was when he really fancied her. So many years had gone by with him having a chance but he ignored it. Too late now I suppose. He thought. He had decided that now was the time to sleep it off. He had been just standing in his living room for an hour and it had just gone 3 a.m. Not even bothering to change he climbed into bed and drifted off to a peaceful sleep with the beautiful, gold locked girl in his mind.
