Marks POV
Gently stroking her hair, I woke Victoria up. "We've got to go sweetheart, they'll be thinking we're up to 'things' if we're not at the studio." I whispered softly as she stirred. "Mmm." She moaned as she stretched. She looked better, more refreshed than she was before she fell asleep which I was grateful for. "Mark? What about Robbie?" She asked slowly opening her eyes, her voice clearer now.
"I don't know. Just leave it and if he wants to talk then he can?" I offered my best support. I struggled when it came to arguments. I'm not that sort of person. Especially when it come to people I love. Vicky sat up and put a hand over my own. "I'm sorry. I'm thankful for you pulling me out the gutter earlier. I know this is hard on you. He's your best friend and don't think for one second that will change." She said reassuringly.
"I know. Don't be so apologetic though. You did what you thought was right." I said. Pulling her up with me, I stood up and grabbed the keys. "Come on." I smiled at her as she bounced down the stairs with me. I loved seeing her so energised. It was heartbreaking seeing her the way she was.

"Okay just one more time V?"Gary asked through the microphone that lead to the booth. She nodded and he started the music up again. "Save our souls, we're splitting atoms go tell eve and go tell Adam" I heard her sing, I loved her voice it was soft but had a rock edge to it. Like her. She was more into rock, she had a stretcher in one earlobe, everyone hates but I quite like it. "Liberate our sons and daughters, some are gods and some are daughters." We sang our bits of SOS, one of the tracks for the new album. Robbie sung a solo too but Gary wanted our bits. Much to Victoria's pleasure though, she probably couldn't handle being in the same booth. "Finished?" I asked hopefully. Gary nodded gesturing to the door for us to get out from the booth. "Tea anyone?" Vicky asked, I nodded as did Dougie, Jay and Gaz but Robbie just scoffed "we all know what happened last time when tea was involved." He said just looking down at his feet. "So no tea then Robbie?" She urged. I smiled warmly at her, she was trying to ignore him. She nodded as if to say "talk to him." So I nodded back and sat next to him. Robbie didn't budge. "Talk to me." I pleaded softly. He nodded "but not here."
"There's a café down the road from here. Shall we go?" I asked and he just shrugged. "Gaz, are we finished here me and Rob need to get going."
Without saying a word Gary waved them off. I gave a quick peck on the lips to Vicky "I'll be back at yours after. Take my car." I said before being practically dragged out by Robbie. The walk to the café was only short yet still agonisingly stressful, they didn't talk whatsoever and it bugged Mark. Once reaching there and ordering coffees the had started talking. "Why?" I asked simply.
"I don't even know Mark. All this time I felt so much for her. I suppose I just had to do it. She loves you and it kills me." He said honestly, blushing slightly. He laughed humourlessly "look at us. Getting work up like a bunch of teenagers."
"Agreed. Rob, I'm not angry at you. Vicky is not angry at you. She feels worthless though. You are the only one now who can tell her otherwise." I said putting a hand on Robbie's shoulder. "What if I try to kiss her again? What if I just get angry again?" He looked up finally, his eyes glistening with constant questions in his mind. "You won't. I won't let you" I state simply. He smiled at me and nodded.

HOWARD'S POV
"Well it's all about progress so surely our cover should show 'progress'?" I asked as we all discussed album covers "what kind of progress? In ourselves? In the albums?" Mark wondered aloud. Victoria jumped up from the safety of Marks arms, jumping up and down. "Evolution, monkey boys!" She laughed as she said it and then stopped jumping up and down "who's the monkey now?" Jason said whilst laughing with her. Victoria is the youngest out all of us but unbelievably the most mature. She's like the mother to us all, she's always there to clean up a graze from our falls when we're all too pissed to stay on our own two feet. I love her. I really do but not like Mark does. Nor Robbie's secret feelings. I'm the only one who can tell that. "Hush it Orange, you orangutang" she said walking over to him and punching him lightly. Jay smiles "Ape." He said punching her back.
"Dog" she said
"Cow" he said before they were both tickling each other and on the floor in fits of laughter. "Children." Gary stated before laughing with the rest of the band. I looked up at the clock. "Guys it's half ten at night. Can we call it a day?" I asked as Jason and Victoria controlled themselves again. "Yeah I agree I'm kind of tired." Vick said rubbing at her eyes. "Ditto." Mark agreed.
Robbie and Jay Nodded in agreement so Gary let us go. I grabbed my coat, said my goodbyes and headed home. It was a chilly and dark Decembers night but my house is only around the corner so I decided to walk it. The streets were still and quiet until I heard a woman's cry. I looked around and decided it was down an alley, taking the risk I walked through the alley. Looking around I had found the source of the crying, and surely enough was a woman. She curled up against the wall when she saw me. I crouched down "hey, I'm not going to hurt you, what happened? Why are you here?" I asked her. She looked up. I knew her. "Savannah?" I said taking in eyes that were not be mistaken. Savannah was a girl from school, someone who Had left me just after starting the band. Her eyes change colour as weirdly,as it sounds, according to her mood and right now it was a mix of anger and sadness. She sniffed and nodded "He beat me." She whispered. I gathered it was someone who she was with so I picked her up, bridal style and carried her to my place. Once inside I switched on the light and I saw her face entirely. It was covered in cuts and blood. Quickly moving her into the living room, I laid her small body down onto the sofa. Going back to find my first aid kit I kept in the house and a bowl of salt and water. "This is going to sting a little" I whispered when I kneeled in front of her and started wiping up blood and clearing up cuts. Back in the 90s Savannah meant a great deal to me. So when she had left for another city with a boyfriend, I was heartbroken. However, I was a friend, I had no right to own her like that so I let her go. "Thank you." She whispered feebly. "Who did this?" I asked her stroking her hair slightly. "Luke." She replied but I looked at her confused, who? "The boy who I ran away with." She stated. So the one who she had left me for years ago.. My hands curled instantly into fists. That prick left her stranded in an alley way. She reached out, touching my fists. "It's ok" she said but I just shook my head "no it isn't!" I stood up and began to pace through the hall, back and forth trying to calm myself down. Savannah came out and put her arms around my waist, hugging me close to her. I held onto her small frame. I'm not letting her go. Not this time.
