Alex's POV:

"I fucking hate them." I muttered to myself as I drove down the highway. "Who gave them the fucking right to blame me for all of the shit that happened. It's not like I did it on purpose." I flicked on my left blinker and waited at the stop light. I turned up my radio, having The Downfall Of Us by A Day To Remember blast through my speakers. I tapped to the beat on my steering wheel and tried to calm down. The light turned green and I stepped on the gas, turning onto a different street and just going straight. I didn't even know where I was going. Might as well just go home. I thought, but home didn't sound good to me. I didn't want to go home angry. Over the loud music I heard a faint buzzing and looked in the passenger seat, my screen lighting up with Jack's name. I ignored it, I didn't want to talk to him after what happened at his place. The buzzing stopped and I resumed tapping at the steering wheel, more sad, of what I did, than angry now. I heard my phone buzzing again and without looking I grabbed it and answered it.

"What?" I said, sounding slightly annoyed.

"Well hi to you too." she answered with a little bit of anger in her voice. "You need to come back over."

"And why should I do that?" I responded while turning at a light again. "It's not like you were the one to make me leave."

"Alex, cut the shit. We all know that you're pissed about what happened and how you think everyone is blaming you." she took a deep breath before continuing. "Anyways, get your ass back over here. It's only me now."

"Whatever." I said, hanging up and throwing my phone back into the passenger seat, then flicking on my turn signal.

Fayth's POV:

I sat on the couch with my legs tucked under me and my arms crossed, watching the colors and pictures flash on the TV. I grabbed my phone off of the coffee table that held a candle in the center and a book at the end. I held it in my hand as I read the text message that popped up after I unlocked it.

We won't be back for another hour or two. The line is long and Jack is throwing a god damn fit.

I laughed and started typing.

Tell him if he's a good boy we can go out to eat later. :)

I answered Alicia and locked my phone before tossing it beside me.

"And now the weather." the news anchor said with a smile. I grabbed the remote that was sitting on the couch and turned off the TV. I laid my head back, staring at the ceiling and waiting for Alex to show up. I turned my head to the left then sat up and untucked my legs and placed my feet onto the floor. I brought my arms up onto my knees and rested my head into my hands with boredom.

"What the hell am I doing? I should've just left it alone..." I sighed to myself and lifted my head up to look out the window. I spotted Alex's car a few seconds later coming down the road and pulling into the driveway; I stood up and walked towards the door, turning the knob and pulling it open I stepped out into the cool air and warm sun.

"Haha, no, no. That would never happen!" I laughed at Alex and took a sip of my drink.

"Oh come on! It so would!" he smiled and tipped his beer into his mouth depositing the last of it. He set the bottle down on the counter top and leaned back in his chair and reached into the fridge for another one.
