One For The Road - Alex Turner fanfiction

Introducing Cara

i kept on running, i had too, Alex's body was heavy, and the blood was still busily erupting from his head. I made my way out of the forest, and to where the car was parked, I quickly set Alex down and searched his body for the car keys. When i found them i instantly smiled, unlocked the car, and hauled Alex into the vehicle.

The car started quickly and I set my food down on the accelerator, and sped away from that place as fast as i could. My body was refreshed with a sigh of relief, until i remembered about Alex's head injury, i looked down at the still unconscious rockstar and panicked a little, my eyes welled with tears, as i was speeding to the hospital.


Once we arrived at the hospital, i launched Alex over my shoulder again and ran in, tears escaping from my eyes as i cried and shouted for help. i ran up to the receptionist desk and asked for emergency medical attention, and fast. A woman rushed over with a stretcher and we both lifted him on it, i was told to go in the waiting area and wait until he was out of theatre, as he had no other choice than to have surgery on his head injury.


As i waited, i got more and more sleepy, as the night went on and eventually, my eyes dropped shut.

When i woke, i was still in the waiting area, but it was light outside. Meaning i must've been sleeping for hours. After about 5 minutes of me being awake, a woman walked over to me and said "Hi sweetie, your friend Alex is in this room here, he's had his surgery, and it appeared to be that somebody had attacked him around the side of his head, but he's recovering well, and we'll let him home in a couple of days." i nodded my head. "Right this way!" She said in a chirpy tone.

I walked into the hospital ward, and there was my rockstar boyfriend, attached to a machine monitoring his heart rate, and a bandage wrapped all the way around his head, ruining his usually perfectly sculpted quiff.

After the hospital worker showed me in the room, and gently left the room again and cowered away into the busy corridors of the hospital.

Al's eyes were still closed, until i walked over and placed my hand in his, only then did he open his eyes, and turn his head towards me, his eyes were swollen and tired looking. "Eyup" he said, no tone to his voice. "Hello." i muttered back, worried about him having no tone in his voice. after a long awkward pause, he broke the silence by asking what actually happened to him, and i replied by saying i didnt know at all, because i didn't....

As we were speaking, a long, thin woman slithered into the room, and walked over very slowly, inspected the wound on Alex's head, then chuckled. This looked extremely suspicious to me already, and Al also did not know how to feel about this woman. We both watched her, in silence, and she came up closer behind Alex's bed. Alex had an evil look on face, he knew what was going on, and i didn't, so i had to know. "Well, uhm w-w-who are you?! Who's this?" i asked the woman, and Alex.

Alex cleared his throat and let out a sigh. "Uh this is Cara, Meg." As soon as Al said that, i got an intense feeling of jealousy. Cara walked over to me,still silent, and inspected me, looking me up & down. I did the same to her, so i could show her who's god damn boss. Cara slid over to the bed where Alex was propped up, and whispered "Sorry about your injury hm?" she waited for a reaction, and she did not get one, so she rushed out of the hospital room doors and ran away, as if she was being chased..

"She cant have?" i whispered to Alex. "No, that's impossible?!" He replied. ai wanted to believe him, but strangely i didnt.

I will write more tomorrow, and i'll try and make it a big paragraph!!
