One For The Road - Alex Turner fanfiction

Alex?!

I walked off, and browsed the Cd's to take my mind off of things, and i picked up a few, turning them over to see the track lists, looking at the cover art, then i bought 4 CD's; one by The Beatles, David Bowie, Jake Bugg & The Kooks. I took them over to the cashier to find that Alex wasn't where i last saw him... The girl wasn't either so i guessed she wanted Alex to meet some of her friends..

I got in the car, and before i started the engine, I unlocked my phone, and texted Alex saying "Hey babi, i've gone home to mom's i needed to see her urgently, get a taxi home?:*" After i sent the message, I started the engine, and drove home to my parents' house. The journey home was quiet, and kind of uneasy.


When i finally got home, i went in the boot of the car and retrieved a few bags full of shopping that I'd picked up, unlocked the door and struggled inside as the bags were almost snapping my arms, as if they were freakin' twigs. I dumped the bags in the middle of the kitchen floor and ran upstairs to draw a bubble bath, after a long day.

I checked my phone to see no message from my rockstar boyfriend.

I started running the bath, and locked the bathroom door. I sat down, then realised i needed my towel, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, so i plodded to our bedroom, and opened the door, only to see my 'perfect' boyfriend pinned up against the wall, kissing another girl. I froze, on the spot, and felt the tears start to form in my now swollen eyes. Alex noticed i was there and quickly threw the girl off of her. "Al.." i started. "No it's not what it looks like at all!!!" he interrupted, a tone of fear to his voice. "No i think it is what it looks like, uhm i should go." by the time i said this tears were already cascading down my puffed up face. I didn't know what to do with myself, so i ran and locked myself in the bathroom. The bath ran and i pulled the toilet seat lid down, and sat there balling my eyes out.


When i had been in the bath, and calmed down the tiniest bit, i walked out of the bathroom, and into our bedroom to get changed, alex wasn't there. When i had finished getting ready, i walked downstairs, towards the living room, and saw Alex there. I looked at him, and he looked back and slowly said "Hey babe." I scowled at him and ran off.



What was even happening.... I hated this.
