Hey people. Sorry for this late update, I was planning on posting it yesterday, but got sidetracked. As you know, 'Staring Across The Subway' and 'Cutting Through The Silence' are my Watty 2012 entries. However, I was suddenly struck with an idea for a story recently. So, I'll be entering 3 stories. Which means, life is going to get even more hectic. Thanks for your patience and support so far.
Enjoy! :)

Chapter Two: I'm A Bitch
Aimee's POV
Being friends with Patricia was a nightmare and a blessing at the same time. No one dared to give you shit, which was a good thing. But my mission of being completely normal and in the shadows was shattered. Everywhere I wandered throughout the school, everyone would suddenly shut up. I liked the silence, but it got annoying after a while. Apparently, since I was part of the 'Clique', I couldn't be friends with anyone outside of the so-called in crowd. I rolled my eyes at the students' oh-so-original names.
It was the first official school day. We'd actually have classes, instead of the boring lectures about school rules. My luggage had been delivered yesterday, because my stupid parents couldn't be bothered to visit me one last time. I frowned. My stupid sisters had made sure of that.
"Aimee!" I turned around, Connor's bright blue eyes greeting me. He smiled the slightest bit, jogging up to me.
"Hey. Where's Patricia?" I asked, nodding back at him. So far, the only ones I had talked to for the past three days were Hayley, Connor and Patricia. And that was only because the two girls had insisted on accompanying me everywhere, and Connor had insisted on stalking Patricia everywhere.
His quiet chuckle blasted me out of my thoughts.
"You know, I'm not always around her." He said firmly. I rolled my eyes.
"Really? I thought you were her personal stalker." His blue eyes turned back to mine.
"Hmmm.. You're the only one who's commented on my escorting Pat everywhere." He commented, still upraising me.
"Escorting, huh? Nice way of putting the stalker part." I snorted. He opened his mouth to reply back, but three new voices joined up behind us.
"Aimee! Connor!" Hayley's shrill voice called out.
"Jesus, Hayley. You're right behind me, for fuck's sake." I grouched, covering my ears to stop the ringing.
"Not exactly delicate and ladylike, are you?" A boy's amused voice said. I turned around, my eyes narrowed.
"No. I'm a bitch." I said bluntly. His obviously-trimmed eyebrow rose, and blue eyes crinkled in amusement.
"Aimee! The school rules said no foul language!" Hayley exclaimed.
"The school also say as long as you are not caught by a school authority. Is there any school authority around here?" I inquired. She sputtered, before turning away in a huff.
"Hello. I'm Dave." Someone shoved a hand under my nose. I followed the arm to a face. Tall asian with bleached hair. I crinkled my nose at the hair.
"Hello. I don't like people shoving their hands in my face." His face flushed, causing Connor to laugh. I ignored their chattering, continuing my fast pace to Science. I saw Connor silently joining me, at the corner of my eye. We ignored each other's presence, just walking in silence.
It was lunch time, and I was sipping on my coffee. No freaking way I'd survive through the whole day without it. And Hayley's constant chatter wasn't helping my case. I scowled at her, and she grinned back obliviously. She opened her mouth, and I dreaded the oncoming onslaught. A pale hand suddenly rested on Hayley's shoulder.
"Hayley. Shut up." Patricia's soft voice said. Even while being a complete bitch, she had to sound like an angel. I rolled my eyes, nodding at her in gratitude. She gave me a quick smile.
"Well, Aimee, I take that your day hasn't been up to your expectations. You look absolutely frazzled." Pat commented. I hummed back, sipping my coffee.
"I heard from Connor that you met Dave and Edwin."
"Yeah, I met Dave. Edwin, though..." I trailed off in thought.
"Blue eyes? Pale skin, narrow face, around Connor's height?" Patricia offered helpfully.
"Oh! The player?" I inquired. At my comment, the girls released a giggle.
"No.. Let's reserve that label for Kyle. Edwin is more of a..." Hayley trailed off, tilting her head, trying to find a word. I looked away, as the two girls chatted about a label for Edwin. I looked around the room, catching a few peoples' gaze before they abruptly looked away. I rolled my eyes. My eyes caught onto steel grey ones.
Kyle.
He pushed away the girl that he was previously making out with. She whined, gesturing wildly before turning away in a huff. His eyes glinted with just a touch of humor. He made sure my eyes were on him, before he crudely gestured with his tongue. I didn't hesitate in giving him the finger. He laughed, throwing his head back. I took off my shoe, flinging it at his head. He swiftly stepped to the side, winking at me before exiting the cafeteria.
Asshole.
