For some reason, writers on this site feel the need to put their life story in random places in their fanfictions, often putting them half way through a sentence, which usually completely messes up the flow of the writing and ruins the immersion for the readers. Here're a few examples:
He looked at her, tears filling his eyes as he watched the blood slowly trickle out of her broken (( OMGGGG I JUST SCREAMED, IT'S THUNDERING OUTSIDE MY HOUSE RN)) useless body.
---
"Do you want to go out somewhere to eat?"
She smiled, "Sure! Where do you want to go?"
He pondered for a moment before finally answering, "How about IHop?" ((I went there this morning!!1! No Joke!! :)))
---
They kissed each other lightly,((damn I'm really hungry)) a shiver going up his spine as Mark caressed ((I wanna go downstairs for food but it's dark and everyone but me is asleep >.<)) the curve of his shoulder, his hand slowly slipping down to gently ((ah fuck it, brb guy's I'm gonna get some snacks... Okay I'm back)) toy the waistband of his boxers.

Fine, so maybe the third one was a bit exaggerated, but do you see how annoying and pointless it is? We came to you for a story, not for your inner struggle on whether you should get a drink from downstairs. If you really want to include some of your personal thoughts, wait until after you have finished the piece of writing and section it off with a few symbols so we know that the chapter is finished.

Like so.
I would recommend leaving a authors note at the bottom of the chapters but it's not necessary, so you don't have to. Personally, it helps me to relate to the writer and the thought process that you went through while writing.
