-Randy's POV-
I was back in my lockeroom, sitting on the couch, holding my head. My head was pounding. That blow from Sheamus really killed me. Now, I was just waiting for the pain medicine to kick in, "Is there anything I can get you?" Eve nagged in my ear again. I don't understand why she stayed around after a match, even when I was in pain. Her hands were all over me and it made me sick when she touched me, when anybody touched me nowadays, but either way, I didn't like it.
"Eve, just get out," I said softly. Now I wasn't as aggressive since my shot at the Heavyweight were put back.
"But Randy-" She began to protest, but I stopped her.
"Eve, I'm asking politely here." I looked her in the eye and she finally understood. She nodded and got up from the couch.
"Have a good night, Randy." She said before she walked out the door. I grunted in responce, not wanting to even talk anymore. I heard the door click behind her and I laid down on the couch. The TV played in the background as I was beginning to drift off to sleep. I still had a good hour to waste until the show was over.
The line between reality and dreams were blurred until there was a ringing on the coffee table. It woke me up just enough to reach out for my phone and pick up the call, "Hello?"
"Hey, Randy," A small little voice came from the other side of the phone. I sat up. I knew this voice well.
"Hey, Daniella," I couldn't figure out why she would call me.
"So-so-so, how are you? I-I saw Sheamus throw you down pretty hard."
I was glad she cared. Sheamus was obviously not fond of me and I do think he took it a bit too far out, "I-I'm alright." We were both stuttering. I don't know why she was stuttering, she was the one over me. But me, I was trying to sound like I wasn't hurt inside, "How're you? Eve kinda fought a bit rough out there." I explain.
"Oh, she just kinda ruffed me up a bit, but I'm fine." I couldn't help but smile.
"Good," I said. Then there was an awkward silence that was a bit hard to break. I scraped the center of my palm out of nervousness. i had no idea what to say next.
"H-hey, Randy?"
"Yeah?"
"Why didn't you show up at the pizza parlor last week?" I stayed silent. What was I suppose to say? 'I saw you hang out with two other dudes and it scared me'? No, I didn't have a good excuse that wouldn't hurt her.
"I-I-I di-didn't-I-I...um..." Now I was just sounding a nervous wreck. My tongue was completely numb at this point. I took a breath and tried again, "I just....I-I just couldn't...bring myself to it" I answered truthfully. I don't often tell people what I'm really feeling, but Daniella was different.
"Oh," She said with something of...surprise maybe? "I-I would just think.....uh...never mind."
"No, no." I said out of instinct, "You can tell me what you're thinking." I wanted to talk with her. Have an actual conversation instead of...whatever we were doing now.
"I just thought you would spending the night with Eve..." She muttered. Dammit, she was falling for the bull Eve was putting out. She believed it! I hated Eve, she was no better than Kane in my book.
"No, not her," I thought of Daniella and it made me smile. I forgot how she made me feel inside. Happy. I thought about asking her about the other guy, but then she would think I was lying that I wasn't there. I thinking about why she called me. I thought I meant nothing to her. Then the silence was back again.
