-Randy's POV-

A bright ray of light was pointed at my eyes when I woke up. The sound of birds chirping and a gentle breeze blowing across. I looked around and yawned. Was I still at the hospital? I started stretching my arms when I felt my hand holding something. I realized I had held Daniella's hand all night. Then I remembered last night. It brought a smile to my face. She drifted off the sleep when she begged me to tell her a bedtime story. I thought it was the cutest thing ever. I told her about the one of a beautiful prinecess named Rose and a handsome knight named Keith. I was hoping she would understand who I was talking about. Me being the knight and she being the princess.

I looked at her peaceful little face. I couldn't help but brush the back of my hand on her smooth cheek. Her skin was warm and soft. I wonder if she would wake up if I kissed her. Her lips were so inviting and plump. I couldn't believe it, how I got so lucky. She was amazing. She was perfect.

You sound so cheezy right now, Shakespear.

You just have to come along and ruin this moment? I mean, it was quiet, and peacful and then you showed up. Not even 30 more minutes alone?

But you've been asleep! I haven't had time to mess with you all night! You've been shutting me out! It's no fun.

Well, other emotions reign over you I guess. I'm just glad I have some kinda of control over you.

Ha, control? What is this control you speak of? No such thing.

Alright, keep telling yourself that. There was a light knock at the door and I turned towards it. Jim was still asleep and I didn't want to wake anybody up. I slowly slipped my hand out of Daniella's and quickly and quietly made my way over to the door. I saw Daniella stir a little bit, but I knew she wasn't waking up. She had a long night. I wouldn't want her to. I open the door a crack and saw a man dressed in a white coat. His tag read 'Dr.Andrews'.

I slipped out of the room and addressed the man, "Morning, Doctor."

"Morning, sir," He seemed to be waiting to get in Daniella's room, but I just stared at him in the eye, "Ms.Rosy is in there, correct?"

"Yes, but she's asleep," I simply told him. He's not waking up Daniella. I didn't want her waking up to bad news, "Just tell me and when she wakes up, you can tell her."

"Sir, there's doctor-patient confidentiality. You are not the patient," He insited.

I tried to reason with the guy, "Look, I'm not holding anything from her, I just....want her to get some sleep. I know she needs it. She's worried about her carrer, her job, her health....Look, I just need to know, so I can prepare her. That's all."

The doctor thought it over for a second. I really hope he would just tell me, I could've been in the room by now, "Nothing extermly serious. Simply a dislocated knee cap throwing everything else off balance. He had a folder in his hand and he took out a X-Ray for me to see, "She needs to wear a simple brace for a week and a half, staying off that leg as much as possible."

I bit my lip, "Week and half? Doing nothing?" I knew Daniella wasn't gonna like the sound of that.

"If she wants it to completely heal then yes."

"Well, um..let's say she was back on it by Monday."

"Well..." He hesitated, "It's possible...but consequences may arise later on. It's highly not reccomended."

I started to pick at my lip deep in thought, "Carrer ending consequences?"

"Well, depends on the carrer."
