"Magnus quit pulling me!" I yelled trying to yank my arm out of his grasp.
"Well then walk," he said bluntly.
I dug my feet into the ground making him have to physically pull me. He sighed and stopped. Then he put his arm under my legs and carried me like a baby.
"I'm not a child!" I screamed, kicking out my legs and pounding at his chest.
"Ok! Alright!" he shouted putting me down.
A shadow fell over us as Eridor landed beside Magnus. Not long after Vervada also showed up.
"Vervada kill this punk!" I said.
Vervada looked over at me with a pained expression, but she didn't help me. Magnus laughed and picked me up again. This time I didn't refuse. I was too stunned to even move.
'Vervada? ' I asked.
She turned her head and shut me out of her thoughts. An emptiness poured through my mind as her's left mine. My head flopped on Magnus's chest, and I didn't care one bit.
"It's going to be fine. You both will understand soon enough," Magnus whispered soothingly.
I didn't say anything. My mind really didn't even process his words. I was in complete shock.

"Woah, are you ok?" he asked grabbing a hold of my shoulders.
I stared at the ground not moving.
"Hey come on. We have to go inside. Can you walk?" he asked.
I nodded my head and took a couple steps forward. Magnus stayed behind me keeping his hand on my back to lead me around. He took me through the main doors and down a couple hallways before stopping. I looked up to see that we were at a wooden door with dragon carvings engraved in it. Magnus walked up and knocked.
"Enter," a voice said on the other side.
Magnus looked back at me before opening the door and ushering me inside. I walked in and looked around. There were hundreds of books on the shelves and odd little trinkets here and there.
"Ah, Magnus it's nice to see you again," said a man sitting at a desk.
Magnus nodded at the man and came to stand over by me.
"And who might this be?" the man asked Magnus.
"This is Luxa," Magnus answered.
He stepped away from me and walked over towards the man.
"Headmaster I'm in need of your service for I do not know what to do," Magnus said.
The Headmaster stood and walked out of his desk space. He stood by Magnus and placed his hands around Magnus's temples. They stood there in silence staring into each others eyes. I began to fidget.
'Relax Little One. All is alright.'
Relief traveled through me as I felt Vervada enter my thoughts again.
'Don't you ever leave me again,' I commanded.
'I will not, but I now understand and you will soon,' she reassured.
