"Okay, so if you don't want to hurt me which I still have hard to believe you won't do. Why have you come into my life? What do you want?"

"I want to make you fall in love with me, realize that we're destined to be together."

I laugh out loud at the words Vic says, convinced that he's joking. But when I see him looking at me with sad eyes I close my mouth. Vic has turned back to his normal size and is now shorter than me again, he suddenly looks so small and vulnerable.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." I say, actually feeling sorry for the vampire. He may have acted like a fuckboy today but I don't think he's actually that bad of a person, vampire, creature, whatever.

"I honestly don't know what reaction I expected when I said that but I didn't think you'd laugh. I thought you would be more scared." Vic says with a shrug to make it look like he doesn't care. But I'm sure he does.

I stay silent for a while just thinking about what he has said to me this time that he's been in my life. Biting me, making me fall in love with him, us being destined to be together. My eyes widen in shock as I figure out what this is all about.

"You want to turn me into a vampire?!" I shout, once again being thankful that only me and Vic is here.

"Yeah..." Vic answers with an innocent smile. Fuck, why does he have to be so attractive?!

"No way! You're crazy, you can't turn me into a vampire! Oh gosh please don't turn me into a vampire," I whimper being on the edge of tears as I slide down the wall and pull my knees to my chest wrapping my arms around them.

"You're right, I can't. Not yet at least. If I bite you now it will only leave you with a mark on your neck and in pain for a few days. Us vampires can only turn a human into one of us if the human is in love with the vampire in question."

I don't know what to say to what Vic just explained to me. If that was the truth I just had to not fall in love with him. That can't be too hard can it? But what I know about Vic so far makes me think he won't give up easily. He'll make me fall for him, I already think he's hot. Damn him and his attractive features.

"But I don't want to be a vampire, I have a life here as a human." I say quietly.

"I know that it's hard for you to understand but you are destined to be turned into a vampire Kellin. Besides even though it's hard leaving everything behind, its worth it. The vampire world has so much to offer. You never have to go to school again, you never have to work again. You can't feel the kind of sadness that humans do and you get to spend your forever with people you love."

I look at Vic in disbelief. There's a big chance he only says so to make me want to be with him as a vampire.

"Can you prove that?" I ask him stubbornly.

"No. I can't take you to my home while you're human. You have to be a vampire."

"Well sorry then. I'm staying human and I'm not falling in love with you." I say crossing my arms like a child.

"Oh darling. So naive it's adorable. As I've said so many times, we're destined to be with each other. You can't change destiny so honestly it will only be easier for the both of us if you don't fight against it."

After those words Vic is gone from my bedroom and I'm left alone in confusion. So what, I have no choice? I'm gonna have to leave everything behind? My friends, family, everything?

It's been two weeks since the last time I saw Vic and I still can't stop thinking about what he said that night. I will have to become a vampire. School has ended and I'm free for two weeks so at least one good thing has happened.
