Chapter 13: Slaughter in the woods

I ducked behind a tree just as someone fired a round at me. It whizzed past and hit a tree next to me, leaving a huge pink splatter. "Darnit Sassy! Why'd you give me pink ammo?" Harry complained. I took this as an opportunity to run away. I dove into the bushes and concealed myself and the gun with leaves and branches.

"I love you so much Elix." I heard. I looked up and saw Niall and Elix. They started kiss. I curled my lip in disgust and fired my gun. It hit Niall in the butt and i had to bite down on a stick to keep from laughing. "Who's There?" Niall asked and turned to face my bush. I fired again and it hit him in the balls. This time it hurt not to laugh. But my voice-box apparently has a mind of its own because i laughed a little bit.

"Sassy?" Elix asked. She came to my hiding spot and started kicking around at the leaves. Niall was still doubled over in pain. I panicked and used one of my abilities to vanish with the gun. I reappeared in the tree.

Now, allow me to explain. I'm not normal. In fact, I'm not human either. I am a transformer. No, not a robot you idiots! I have many different powers, but the one my race is best known for is transforming. I can shape shift into any kind of animal and speak to any animal. Some of my other powers include inhumane speed, super strength, vanishing and reappearing in another place. I can also turn invisible. JUST KIDDING!! Haha! Did you see your face? No, it's very close. I can camouflage like a chameleon.

Anyways, Kylie and i are the last of our race. Of course, my crew knows that. I am adopted, so my family are mortal. They don't mind though. Except for when i get distracted when i teleport to the dinner table, and i end up in the salad bowl.

But Kyles and i have to have children in order to keep the race alive, which means, we have to find a boy that'll accept us being transformer. Until then, it sucks. Do you know how many boyfriends I've lost because of that? Like 20. :(

Anyways i saw someone hiding in the bushes with their gun pointed at Louis so i shot them in the back and shifted into a squirrel. I shifted the gun into a nut. Turns out it was Harry. He got up and ran from me. Yeah. You'd better run.

I shifted back into human mode and waited. "Fancy seeing you here." I heard a laugh. I turned to see Liam. "So. Do you want to team up and defeat them all so we can get this bloody stupid battle over, or are we going to stand here all day?" He asked. "You're from a different team. why do you want to team up with me?" i asked, jumping down.

"Because i like you. Danielle and i broke up a while ago. When Elix drug us along coming here i didn't know why i was here. Now i know. It was to fall in love with you." He stepped closer to me. I was about to reply but i was stopped short by someone pointing a gun at us. I grabbed Liam and vanished into a bush.

Liam was as white as a sheet. "Shut up, if you scream, they'll find us. Alright. I'm not a vampire, a werewolf, or some creepy weirdo. I am a transformer, the last of my race. So leave me alone. Ditch me if you want, but keep your mouth shut!" I hissed. He nodded. I proceeded to remove my hand from his mouth.

"Anyways as i was saying before, although it won't matter now, i love you too Liam. I liked you ever since i laid eyes on you." I admitted. "Well then." Liam smiled and leaned in. I leaned in a we kissed! Happy attack!!!

I felt a little bit like Katniss and Peeta from The Hunger Games. Such a stupid book! That's not literature, that is a handbook on how to kill someone!

We were still kissing when i heard "HARRY'S OUT!". I pulled away when i saw Niall running towards our bush. I fired a shot and he ran in the other direction. Then, Zayn came into view. I shot at him and it hit him in the chest. "ZAYN'S OUT!!" Archa yelled inside our heads.

By mid afternoon, Elix, Niall, Liam and i were the only ones standing. But sadly, I got both of them and Liam and i ended up winning.

"Jeez! That was way to easy!" I laughed at them. "Whatever. It was fun!" Elix smiled. "If you mean kissing Niall until i shot him? Then yes! It was fun!" I giggled. "That was you?" Niall asked. "I'm sorry! I had to do it! I thought your lips were going to fall off!" I exaggerated.

They rolled their eyes. "Let's eat. I'm starving!" Niall whined. They started walking off. "Eh, you guys go ahead. I'll catch up." I called. Then i super sped into the woods. I shape shifted into a panther and enjoyed being free.

I galloped through the trees feeling my muscles ripple underneath me. It was so much fun to feel free. To feel like the world can't stop you. To feel the ground beneath your paws.

Everything was pure bliss until a searing pain ripped through my side. I changed back and realized i was bleeding from my side.

I had been shot.
