"Hey ma!" Derek says hugging me when he greets me from my front door. "Hey Derek!" I say back. "So you ready?" Dereks asks.
"Yes I am." I say. We head towards his car and Derek opens the door for me. "Thank you, sir." I say playing around.
"You're welcome ma'am." He says playing along. We laugh and he shuts the door. And gets in the car.
"So.. To the movies." Derek says backing out the driveway. "To the movies!" I said. The whole car ride Derek and I talked about our life's. We've only known eachother go 1 week and a half.
I mean I haven't done anything. I don't know if he wants to speed up anything or keep it on the low and keep it slow. So I'll just wait till he does the first move.
Knowing me I don't have the best luck. We arrive at the movies and Derek goes over to the door and opens it. "Alright so what movie?" He asks while we're walking.
"Um.. How about a horror movie?" I ask. "Uh..sure..." Derek says pausing. I look over at his face and it's straight. I burst out and laugh.
"Come on! You can't be scared of a movie." I say slapping his shoulder. "Hey hey hey.. I'm not scared of movies." He says. "Alright." I say. "Okay maybe.. They just freak me out sometimes but not all movies are scary to me, I can do some." Dereks explains himself.
We walk towards the movie and we discuss on what movie we should watch.
"Lets watch Blair Witch!" I say. "Uh..okay.." Derek says. I pull my money out. "Hey don't worry about that I got it." Derek says getting his money out. "Thank you Derek." I say.
He grabs the tickets and we turn around. "Anything for you baby girl." My stomach dropped.. baby girl? I squeal inside. I laugh and he grabs my hand and we interwind them.
"Alright let's get to our seats." I say. We're still holding hands walking up the steps. Then we find a seat.
I let out a deep breathe. "You ready!" I ask teasing him. "You know it.. damn what's it with you peoples and scary movies?" Derek asks playing around. I laugh.
"The thing is.. some of us 'peoples' love suspense." I say. Derek looks at me while I was talking admiring the things about my face. I blush, good thing he couldn't see cause the movie started, I smiled at him and looked at the screen.
We watched the previews and then the movie starts.
I have to act like a man and not be scared Derek thinks to him self.
I got to impress the lady.
I reach my hand over the arm rest to hold Dereks hand. He grabs my hand. "I won't be scared." He says. "Okay." I say.
Through the movie Derek only jumped 1 time. And I laughed alittle.in the middle of the movie, He puts up the arm rest and he puts his arm around me and he scoots me into his side. So I'm leaning on him and laying my head on his shoulder.
The movie ended and we get up and leave. "See it wasn't that bad." I say. "Yeah.." Derek said. "It was very bad." He finish's off. "Yeah explains why you jumped." I say,
When he brings me by his side and he puts his arm around me again. He opened the door for me and I get in. And he goes to his die do the door and gets in.
"Alright let's get you home." He says. He drives me home and we talk the whole time making eachother laugh then we arrive at my house Parked. "I guess this is goodbye." He says.
I look down at my lap and look back up at his soft face, with the moon light reflecting off his face.
"Do you want to spend the night I ask?" His face brightens up. "Sure" he says. We get out the car and walk into my house. And walk right into my room. "I'm so tired" I say.
"Alright then lets go to sleep." He says. "I don't have any clothes with me.." I say to Derek. "Then I hope it's okay with you if I sleep in my boxers." I nod my head. That I'm okay with it.
I get ready and go into bed. Derek's shirtless and has only boxers on while I have a t-shirt with shorts on. We're facing eachother . He then kisses me forehead. "Goodnight Lesly."
"Goodnight Derek." I say. He plays with my hair and stokes it then I open my eyes. He's looking at my hair while he stoked it. His lashes are so long I think to my self. Then he looks at me. And keeps doing it.
He's looking at me again. "Why do you do that?" I ask. "Do what?" He asks. "Look at me like that." I say.
"Because you're so beautiful Lesly.. and I want to be with you." He says. I smile. "Me too." He smiles back and he leans in to kiss me. "Goodnight again baby girl." He says.
"Goodnight" I say laughing. I burry my face into his chest while he wraps his arms around me and lays his head above mine.
