20th November 2550
As I lie in my bed, I rewinded through days and hours. I wanted to settle everything. I did not want to make anymore confusion, no more suspense left or anything like that. But sometimes, it takes time. But as I had a mini war in my head, I decided that Fang, Glitter and Trever may not have told the truth to me. It could have been fake, false, phony (well, basically I am just jotting down synonyms and ran out of them, so I will just stop here). I wanted sort it out, so I realised that I had made a mistake. And I will rectify it.
As the next day zooms by fast. An I thought, “Wow! Isn’t it a good day!” In the evening, I slipped into a normal tights and a tank top, which was green. I bought my necklace and my diary along for support as I walked up to the school terrace.
As I expected, Helia was there, looking into the sunset as he waited for me. As I approached him, he questioned, in a rather stern and solemn voice, “Why did you call me here?” I seriously felt hurt but I managed to keep a calm face as I shuffled my feet uncomfortably. I admitted slowly, “H-helia, I wanted to admit that actually there was-“ “STOP!” a husky voice interrupted and before I could turn around to see who the person was, I was banged into that guy. I could not see who he was as I flung down the terrace, my face buried into his clothing. As I shrieked, it was muffled by his clothing. My energy was draining as I could feel myself falling. Great! I was falling from a three stories high building and was screaming like a maniac for attention but was muffled by some idoit’s clothing. But then, I whacked against something soft but still hard. But soon, the ground started shaking. WHAT?? The ground could shake? But my vision was still obscured by darkness and I was too tired. Before I knew it, I was knocked into abeyance.
The heat was scorching me as I gently lifted my eyelids up, just to be attacked by a agglomeration of sunlight through my eyes. What happened? I could feel the bed vibrating slowly. Wait? The bed was vibrating? But I did not remember talking to Glitter before sleeping. Soon snippets of the past came back into my memory as I got fully aware of what happened yesterday. Wait… YESTERDAY? I was sleeping for 13 HOURS!!! GAHHHHH!!!!!! This was not supposed to happen! I will be late for school. Or I am already. I opened my eyes completely and sat up, looking for my phone. Lets just say, I found myself on a moving (meaning hovering) truck of hay with a boy sleeping next to my cutely as he drools in his wife beater and leather jacket with black cargos. Lets just say that the boy was none other than Fang.
Fang freaking Quentin.
It was an open dessert around us but my eyes were skimming on Fang. He looked so oddly cute with his leather jacket cupping him like his safety blanket as he drools and smiles. He had such adorable little nose, it looked so dainty in the sunlight..-
“Done drooling on your boyfriend already?”
The sound was oddly familiar. The tone was a bit commanding and had authority. The exact same voice that I hated to get its wind of.
Mona
Mona freaking Hanes was staring at me emotionlessly.
I was staring at her blankly too as I turned around to find her at the edge of the truck, huddled in a corner with a bag with her as she stared at me like a robot, no emotions. I looked at her, stupefied. What was she doing here? Wait was I doing here myself?
As I dwindled over that thought, I heard a soft groan from Fang. He was fluttering his eyelashes as he yawned and tried to digest what was happening. He kept his hand over his eyes to let his pupils to adjust to the sunlight. Then he wiped away his drool as he flushed with embarrassment and turned to me with a turmoil expression in his face as he knew I needed explanation.. for a lot of things.
“I-I just did not want him to know anything.” As Fang continued to explain to me, all I did is shake my head in disapproval. He cannot just stalk me and spoil my admittance with Helia and I couldn’t show him that I love him. Mona just huddled in a corner, zoned out. She stared in empty space as if she was processing thoughts in her mind curelessly. She seemed… traumatized. I stood up, to realise that I was not in hay.. I was in flowers.. dried flowers. They were that soft. But what was worse that we were in a forest and the truck had stopped and it was auto driven here. So basically, we were stuck in the middle of nowhere and I was too tired to use my powers (sadly, I have no tracking powers). My stomach was grumbling so badly and I would tear hell up if I do not get my food soon. Then we heard low hitch growling from our surroundings.
That made Mona come back to the real world and she jerked her head to the side a bit then whispered, “It is not safe to be among beasts here, lets leave.” Fang nodded in agreement and he closed his eyes tightly and then I felt a layer of purple ora. Oh, fang is telepathic. I never knew that. I followed behind them to out of the truck and we managed to hide our cover at the back of an oak tree. Then, nearby, there were some edible berries but Fang insisted not to risk our lives so once we were outside that random beast’s radar, we started hunting for food. Yup, it turned all of us to vegetarians when we found mushrooms. Mona weaved some twigs into a basket to collect the mushrooms and we did some sort of ‘barbecue’ as Mona blew some fire on some planks.
Well, talk about a good day.
I actually wanted it to be a bit longer, but i decided against it. So, more action will be in the coming chapters.. no worries.
