Child of Hades

Five years Later

A/N: I'm already updating this story again and this part will begin with a Time Skip to five years later.

(Shadow's P.O.V)

It's been five years since I defeated Salem and everything started going back to normal even Zeus came back and father gave him the throne again. Ever since I found out the truth I've never trusted Zeus after that. He's been wanting me gone for the past few days now, and everything he throws my way I just shake it off. I continue to be the hunters guardian today, but with Zeus back in control he's wanting me to meet with him, Poseidon, and Ares in the woods today as well. Artemis said, ''It's a bad idea to meet those three on your own.''

''Why don't you come with me and hide in a tree and see the whole thing for yourself.''

''But what about our daughter Heather.''

''I didn't think about that one.'' I didn't mention the fact that Artemis and I had a daughter a year ago and named her Heather. Her hair one side was black while the other was silver, and same goes for her eyes one was silver other was black like mine. I couldn't go fading on her, and Arty like that. ''Let me go alone I'll handle with them and not fade in the process.''

''Fine by me, and you have to swear on the River Styx.''

''I swear on the River Styx not to fade on you and Heather.'' I heard thunder in the distance. She waved me out. I walked out and went to get my weapons knowing that Zeus means for me to fade again.
  Once I strapped Reaper to my back I was ready to go. I flashed out and met the three gods where they wanted me to.
  I was the first one to arrive. I waited for them to arrive and honestly I don't care for Zeus at all he's a major pain in my ass.
  Three minutes had passed before I got bored and started to pace around. Then I got angry and slashed the air with my hand. I slashed the air a few more times before I stopped and regained myself.
  When I saw three flashes I instantly pulled out Lucifer. Zeus was the first one to show, then Poseidon, and finally Ares. I asked, ''Zeus why am I here?''

''Isn't it obvious. We're going to make you fade like we did to Devi, and after you I'm going to put Heather in Tartarus and make her rot along with the other demons.''

''You don't get it do you Zeus. I am Devi, and if anyone's going to rot in Tartarus it's you.'' My voice was deeper and seething with rage.
  I charged slashing at Ares making him go down first. Then I went for Poseidon, and slashed at him, but he countered my slash with his trident. I jabbed my hand into his chest sending him to the ground. I turned my attention to Zeus who looked like he just shit himself. ''Come on Zeusy boy one on one lie it should've been from the start.''

''What in Hades are you?''

''I'm your worst nightmare.'' (No pun intended.) I charged and grabbed Zeus's face taking him into the air. We kept going higher.
  When I stopped I threw Zeus back to the ground. He landed and sent cracks through where he landed at. I didn't have enough time to react when he flew back up and sent a sword through my abdomen. I looked at the blade and saw a material I knew to well. End Steel. ''Finally I've done it. I've taken down the god of demons.''

''Listen here Zeus.'' I ripped the sword out and threw it to the ground. ''All you've done is tick me off.''
  I still had Lucifer in my hand. ''This is what pain feels like.'' I slashed Zeus with Lucifer from shoulder to hip. He fell to the ground, and I said, ''I would finish you off, but I'm feeling merciful today.''
 I sheathed Lucifer in his sheathe. I landed on the ground and walked to the hunters camp. Before I reached the end of clearing I heard, ''Why won't you finish me off?''

''I'm not like other demons that's the one thing you don't understand Zeus. Just because I'm the god of demons doesn't mean I have mercy.'' I felt the three gods behind me go back to Olympus to heal Ares and Poseidon got the least amount of damage from me while Zeus got the most of it. He deserved it to for threatening Heather like that.
  Instead of flashing back to the hunters I just walked back wanting to be alone for a little bit while wanting to think for now.
