Child of Hades

Four weeks later

(Shadow's P.O.V)
  It's been four weeks since I've became the guardian of the hunters and all I've done in that time is fight off the bigger and badder monsters the hunters couldn't handle themselves, but a week ago I had a dream about a girl I knew and she was in trouble. Today I was going to see Artemis, and she isn't exactly happy about it I could see it in her eyes.
  I made way to her tent and once I got there I didn't knock since I never kept anything hidden from her except for the last few nights I've been going out and trying to control myself around the moon. She noticed I was outside of her tent and let me come in. I said, ''Thank you lady Artemis.''

''Why is it that you are here Shadow?''

''I've come to tell you of my dreams.''

''I thought demons don't have dreams?''

''They don't but I've been having some recently. Mine are about a girl I know and she's in danger.''

''Who is this girl you speak of?'' She asked.

''Her name's Caeleigh, and she's a daughter of Nemesis.''

''Why do you need to save her?''

''She's my friend and I'm sure you could use another hunter to help.'' I said.
  She let me go and I went to save Caeleigh. I shadow traveled to where she was at and appeared as the Minotaur was charging in. I grabbed his horn and ripped it clean off. I stuck it back in his head and he disappeared into gold dust. I said, ''Okay now I got to find Caeleigh.''

''You don't have to go to far.''

''Caeleigh were you here the whole time?''

''Yeah and I've got to say thanks for saving me from this thing.''

''That thing is the Minotaur and your mom is Nemesis goddess of Revenge. Now come on we got to get out of here.'' I grabbed her hand and teleported to my tent.
   She crashed in my arms. ''Perfect just great. I saved her and now I got to heal her.''
  I walked outside and laid her on the ground with my hand in my pocket grabbing some Ambrosia. I always kept some for emergencies, and this was an emergency. I gave Caeleigh a square of Ambrosia and fed it to her. I saw Thorne and motioned him  to come over here. He sat next to me and growled a little. I said, ''She won't hurt you. She's gonna have a cow though.''

''Talking to your pet I see?'' Someone said.

''Artemis, you can say that.''

''I take this is the girl you were talking about?''

''Yeah, and damn that Minotaur for coming so close.''

''What did you do this time.''

''Grabbed his horn broke it off and shoved right in his skull.''

''You can be brutal you now that.''

''That's how the demons taught me. Can you stay her I got to get drink.''  I was about to walk off when I was surrounded by a light. I was teleported to Olympus standing before Zeus. He said, ''I see you've been taking care of my daughter along with her hunters.''

''I have, but may I ask why I'm here?''

''I want to test out your skills by battling me yourself.'' He brought out his lightning bolt and shot a bolt of lightning at me I dodged it again. I didn't have my weapons with so I had to improvise. I remembered something my dad gave me and I kept it on the back of my belt since then. I pulled it out and shifted it to its full length. I whirled the doubled pointed pitchfork in my hands and went to battle. I held the part in the middle and blocked every bolt of lightning that was sent my way. Soon it was sent out of my hands . I smirked and kicked Zeus in the chest, and picked up my pitchfork. I threw it and impaled the wall next to him. He said, ''Nice aim, but you missed.''
