XIII

Luke's POV:
"Oh my god." I whispered as I stood up. I walked over to the door and wrapped her in my arms, I know I probably shouldn't have, but I did. We stood there together for several minutes until she spoke up.

"Luke, we need to talk about this." She said quietly and pulled away from me. I nodded and we walked to the couch and sat down. I sighed and looked at her.

"Ash, you know I wouldn't ever do that to you, I love you more than anything in this whole world and I wouldn't throw the love we have away for her, I don't even know her, she just kissed me out of nowhere, you have to believe me." I said and grabbed her hands.

"Luke, I believe you, it's just, that hurt like hell, it felt like I had just been punched so hard in the stomach, like all the wind was taken out of me when I saw her do that." She said as a tear fell down her face.

"I'm so sorry."she nodded and hugged her again.

"So, why didn't you believe me yesterday?" I asked.

"Well, I was just caught up in the moment, I knew deep down inside that you'd never do that." She said. I nodded and laid my head on her shoulder.

"You didn't get any sleep last night either, did you?" She asked.

"None at all, it's hard to fall asleep without you next to me." He said.

"It is, I don't want to ever do that again." She said.

"Let's go get some sleep." I suggested, she agreed and we walked to the bedroom. I pulled of my sweatpants to where I was just in my underwear, Ashleigh got one of my shirts and changed into just it. We laid down together in the bed. I'm so glad she came back and we worked this out. I don't know if I could've spent another night like that.

"You still haven't kissed me." She said quietly with I smile. I slowly leaned close to her until out lips met. We made out a little bit and I pulled away with the taste of her lingering on my lips. She laid her head on my chest and I kissed it.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too." She said back. We both quickly fell asleep in one another's arms.

I woke up and Ashleigh wasn't in bed, I got up walked to the bathroom and she was in the shower. I stripped out of my clothes and got in with her. She jumped when I wrapped my arms around her waist but quickly adjusted to my touch. She must've just gotten in because her hair wasn't completely wet yet. I kissed her on the lips and moved my lips down onto her neck. She quietly moaned and gripped onto my back. It just went downhill from there. After we finished up in there, we both got out and dried off.

I put on a pair of sweatpants and she put on a t-shirt and shorts. We walked into the living room and sat on the couch. We really just watched tv and ate the whole day. Tomorrow we both have to go back to work, I was not looking forward to that and I don't think she was either.

The day came closer to an end and we were both getting hungry. Ashleigh offered to cook but I insisted I would. I grilled burgers and made French fries and we sat down to eat. I blessed the food and we ate. When we finished, we both cleaned up the kitchen together. After that, we both went into the bedroom and Ashleigh got her things ready for work in the morning. I admired how organized and perfect she was, my house has become a lot cleaner since she moved in here. I laid down in bed with her and she quickly fell asleep. I felt like I was tired, but I just couldn't sleep, I laid there watching Ashleigh. She's just so damn beautiful. I watched as her chest rose up and down as she breathed. I can't wait to marry this woman one day.
