Thursday (Translating Day)

Kelly taught me Filipino language he remembered though it was just her mother who taught him that. I was interested, of course, learning new language especially those language which is difficult to speak and funny ...to hear.

Kumusta ka?,” he said, starting to say the words I didn't understand.

“What does that mean?”

How are you?

I laughed. What the hell is that word? Is that a word or some kind of a ritual?

Ku-mus-ta ka...” I stuttered like a child learning a new language.

“How about this, magandang umaga.”

“What the hell is that?”

“Give a guess, Jen. You might translate it.”

Hmmmm...

“Is that a food? Or perhaps a name?”

Kelly suddenly laugh.

“Am I wrong?”

“You're too far. It's good morning.”

A what?!

“So...what's I love you?” I asked.

Mahal kita.

Ma-hal ki-ta...”

Achilles gave another laugh.

“How about thank you?”

Salamat.

“Okay, that's a hard language to know. By the way, mahal ki-ta...”

“I love you too, Jen.” He said and kissed my lips.

Friday (Lust Day)

O.M.G

Tomorrow will be the break-up day. I couldn't imagine what will going to happen. I flipped on the channel and brought me to a weather forecast. It said that there'll be rain, every now and then in Allentown. So I should expect that there will be rain pouring out of nowhere. Ugh!

And guess what? It rains after I changed the channel to my favorite TV series Joan of Arcadia

What if God was one of us?

Just a slob like one of us

Just a stranger on a bus

Trying to make his way home...

Achilles' arm was on my shoulder, warming me up.

We created this kind of playing the words just to have some fun when we felt we're idling for some minutes.

“I wish I am a letter 'v',” he started, eyeing at me, a sign of the great fight of sweet words, “cause I'll be next to 'u'”

Yes he's always next to me. I laughed, amused by his words. Guess he challenged me. Well, I prepared my own words.

“You're like a ball that I can't shoot,” I said mine, “cause I'll always missing you.”

Silence.

“Are you a sugar? 'cause you're so sweet!”

“You're like a sun,” I said, “'cause you brighten up my dark days.”

Geez! Every time we do those things, we always ended with a laugh until we get tired.

“What do you want for lunch?” I asked after a tiresome laugh, then moved my hand rubbing his cheek.
