Epilogue

 After 3 years...

December 25.

5:00PM

"Babe, can you get the food sa car? I left it there eh." April told me.

"Okay, just wait there, alright?" I replied and ran to go to the car.

Hi. My name is Ace. My life's been tragic. But I'm different now.

I now own a company. I have my own business and I'm engaged with April Camille Santiago. I also told her the truth about me and Tricia. I'm no longer a heart breaker. I have forgotten that a long time ago. That's all in the past now.

Hmm. Tricia? She's living a peaceful life now... in heaven. With the angels protecting her and guiding her. And everybody was right. You'll just see someone'sworth if you lose them. And Nigel was arrested. Well, until now. He accused me of rape but his girl friend told the truth so my name was easily cleared.

My life changed after that incident. I left the past.

But Tricia, always remained in my heart.

"Babe? Nakuha mo na?"

"Yep! Coming!" I ran towards her and kissed her in the forehead.

"Aww.. You're so sweet. Tara, kain na tayo." She smiled.

I arranged the picnic basket and the blanket. "Tara na. Let's eat." She sat down beside me.

Oh. If you're wondering kung nasaan kami, we're in the cemetery. Beside Tricia. :)

While she was eating, she suddenly asked me. "Are you happy?"

I stopped for a while. And then I smiled and a tear suddenly fell down from my eye. I just remembered HER. "Yep. I'm happy. Really, happy. Ikaw?"

"Of course." She smiled and then I kissed her in the forehead.

She lay down on the grass and I did too. I held her hand while we were watching the wonderful vast blue sky.

"Thank you for being there for me, always. I love you." I said. April's my first girl friend but, my second love.

"Thanks. I love you too. I always will." We looked at each other and giggled.

I grabbed my iPod and played a song.

And I lie awake and miss you

Pour me a heavy dose of atmosphere

Cause I'll doze off safe and soundly

We looked at each other and tears fell on our eyes but we still kept on smiling.

♪♫ I'll watch the night turn light blue

But it's not the same without you

Because it takes two to whisper quietly

The silence isn't so bad

Till I look at my hands and feel sad

Cause the spaces between my fingers

Are right where yours fit perfectly... ♪♫

"You miss her, don't you?" She asked while looking at the sky.

"Yeah. Of course I do." I said honestly.

"Siguro kung hindi siya nawala, kasal na kayo ngayun. 'Di ba?" She smiled but tears were falling down her eyes.

I held her hand and kissed it. Then I said, "But that doesn't really matter. Sigurado akong masaya na siya ngayun." I looked at her.

I'll taste the sky and feel alive again

And I'll forget the world that I knew

Oh if my voice could reach back through the past

I'd whisper in your ear:

"Oh darling I wish you were here"... ♪♫

"Merry Christmas, Ace." She said with a very sweet and glowing smile on her face. She hugged me and I hugged her back.

"Merry Christmas, April." I smiled back at her.

"Merry Christmas Triciaaaaa!" We both shouted in sync.

While April kept on smiling, I whispered in a lower tone...

"I love you..."
