Kura P.O.V.
“Stop runnin sugar! There is no escape.” A voice yelled from the shadows of the alley.
I whipped my head side to side, trying to see the person which the voice was coming from. In my moment of panic, I hear a voice in my head screaming “run”. I obey the voice in my head, running as fast as I can. All I see is darkens engulfing me. I can feel air whipping my hair carelessly around my face. I sprint without stopping. My lungs burn, but I don’t care. I can’t care. I see a light ahead of me. In the light, I see a person that looks oddly familiar. The person is screaming my name, “Kura. Kura.” Hearing my name, makes me run faster. All I am focused on is the light. It gets closer and closer….then something pulls me back into the darkness. I come crashing to the cold concrete. I look around, trying to find the light, which held the person; that filled me with hop, and love. I see nothing, except darkness. All I can here is the voice I was trying to escape. The voice fills the air around me. Its evil laughter gets closer and closer….
I jolted awake from my nightmare. I sat up so quickly, I hit my head on something hard that just happened to be in front of me. I leaned back, trying to get my bearings. When I finally realized that I was on a plane, I started to panic. Why was I on a plane? I looked around me, to find Jason staring at me wide-eyed. It was very clear that worry dominated his face.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” I said trying to keep my voice empty of emotions. I didn’t want him to worry anymore that he already is.
“Um…you just shot up from a fitful sleep like something bit you or something.” He said his eyes trapping me in his magnificent eyes. He held my gaze for what felt like forever, until the annoying flight attendant came over to us.
“Do you need anything?” She said in a way to perky voice. I shook my head no, because I was stilled mesmerized by Jason’s eyes. When I still sensed her behind me, I reluctantly pulled my gazed away from Jason, to find her staring at Jason.
Oh my god! That super annoying Barbie flight attendant was checking Jason out. I struggled to hold back the laughter that slowly rose up my throat.
I know that Jason looks pretty hot in his tight V-neck shirt, showing his ripped arms and chest. Did I’m-a-really-annoying-flight attendant Barbie really think that she had a chance with him. I mean, almost every girl in school tried to hit on him, but he just brushed them off. I knew that this was going to be interesting.
“So…do you need anything there handsome?” Flight attendant Barbie said, trying to use her best seductive voice. In reality, the voice she used fits a stripper better.
“Um…no thank you,” he looked over at me, then giving me a wink, said, “what about you babe?” I looked at him, trying to keep my jaw from falling off and hitting the ground. What did he just say? Was he trying to get rid of flight attendant Barbie or was he serious?
“No I think I’m good, my sexy god.” If I was going to play act here, might as well make it worth it. I looked over at the Barbie, to see her shooting me daggers. If looks could kill, I would have died 100s of times.
She stood there for another minute, still trying to kill me with her eyes. She didn’t move a muscle until a voice came over the intercom, saying, “Please fasten your seatbelts on. We are beginning our descent now.” When the intercom beeped off, Barbie let out a sigh, and stomped off, going back to the flight attendant cabin.
I couldn’t hold it in anymore. I started to laugh uncontrollably.
“That was hilarious! Did you see her face…?” I looked over at Jason. I expected him to be laughing, too, but his face was sober.
