Unlike before when Noah was driving us in Chase's car, I drove here today But It didn't make any difference anyway because he still took my keys and drove us. I was way too out of it to drive anyway. I was in the front seat with Noah and Dana was in the back seat with Greg, he tagged along with us this time. Since Dana had a Greg had a thing going on, i knew this car ride would be so awkward because Noah and I do not talk, so while Dana rested her head on Greg's shoulder and they talked about anything comfortably, I was stuck starring out of the window, wishing we would hurry up and get to my house.

We had just pulled off from Chases house and were on the road. Chase had just given Dana and I a speech about how if we are not home or at school then we always have to have at least one of them with us. It was going to be a new adjustment to Dana and i's friendship now. Always having a guy with us while were hanging was going to be so different but it's what we had to do, at least until Chase could calm the war between our crew and Vermont's. Meanwhile I had an idea up my sleeve of my own, one that I had to sit my parents down and talk about.

I began wondering what Vermont looked like and why he wanted to attack Noah's crew so bad. What was the war for anyway? I remembered them saying it's been peaceful between them until now. When Vermont and his people came to the abandoned house with guns I couldn't really see his face amongst the crowd and there was also more then one guy holding a gun. I could bet a billion dollars he was probably very evil looking though or at least that's what I imagined.

"I'm hungry, let's stop at in and out burger." Greg leaned toward the front seat between Noah and I which pulled me out of my thoughts. Noah nodded and so that's where we went. Parked at the restaurant, and Dana held my hand when we got out while she walked next to Greg. When we were seated we were at a booth so she sat with Greg, leaving me with Mr attitude.

Noah paid for our food before it was brought too us and just put 200 dollars down so we could order whatever we wanted. At first I doubted we could spend that much on food but then I witnessed Greg and Noah order almost everything off the menu.

Dana and I were just talking about the food until Greg whispered to her and she laughed, he literally took her attention away from me which caused me to just sit with Noah in an awkward silence. I watched from the corner of my eye as he occasionally texted on his phone and then looked around the restaurant. I could tell he was on alert, watching our surroundings. He paid attention to every car that pulled up, and who came in and out of the restaurant.

I began looking at his clothes and realized his black sweatshirt he was wearing had his dad's company's logo on it. I knew it because my parents often pushed the company's clothes on me telling me I needed to represent them but the clothes always looked more of a boy style to me.

"They've convinced you to wear the company clothes too?" I joked. Noah looked at me and then at the logo on his sweatshirt. When he looked back at me I smiled lightly, and he frowned and slowly looked away.

"Yeah, i guess." His jaw clenched when his mouth closed back up. It was like I irritated him when I spoke to him. I just nodded and looked away. He definetly wasn't trying to have any kind of conversation with me so I kept quiet. When our food came the guys wasted no time devouring everything like they haven't eaten in a while. I was content with my burger and fries and so was Dana. Her and I watched in horror while Noah and Greg ate multiple burgers and too many fries. Our table was packed with trays of food.

When Noah saw me staring at him like he was an animal, he slowed down on his food and finally smiled at me. I pressed my lips together and blinked at him. His smile was made my knees weak.
