"So that's them?" I asked as we watched a few guys from afar. They were standing outside of a house, talking and laughing together. After we all left Chase's house, we all rode in his van. This time we didn't have to pile inside because Chase cleaned it out, so there weren't boxes and large bags taking up any room anymore. Chase drove us downtown, to a neighborhood that wasn't as nice as our. The guys said it was a low income area, and a big crime neighborhood.

"Yup." Chase responded. We all were looking out of the window watching the guys. We were a block away from them but we could see them all clearly. It was six of them.

"Well which one is the Vermont guy?" Dana asked Greg. "For some reason he's not out there." He responded suspiciously. "But this is there spot, this is where they hang."

"So that means you two should never ever cross over into this neighborhood." Nat told Dana and I so we nodded.

I watched Vermonts crew talk and joke around with each other. Play fighting and what not. But I didn't let myself get fooled, They were dangerous and i wouldn't ever go near them or this side of town for that matter.

"I think where done here." Chase announced after a while. He drove away from the street and onto the main road. Dana and I were sitting in the back of the van with Ryder but he and the rest of the guys were having a conversation of their own.

"What are you thinking about?" Dana asked with concern on her face. I exhaled,  and looked out the window to my right. "Nothing, i guess." I turned back forward her, then I glanced forward at Greg who was sitting in front of us in the middle seats.

"What did you do last night? After you were dropped off with Greg?" I wiggled my eyes at her and she smiled While scooting closer to me so she could whisper.

"We talked all night and fell asleep together." She glanced at him as she talked low. "He didn't even try anything, he slept on my couch in my room and even ordered me breakfast this morning." She smiled while talking to me and staring at me.

"He told me he really likes me Nina, and he wants to make me happy." I laced my arm with hers. "Im so happy for you Dana." She gave me a side huge, smiled while squeezing me back. I couldn't help but look at Noah and Dana saw.

"I don't know what his problem is, it's like he only cares about fighting, and this gang." She whispered and I nodded agreeing. At least she was finally realizing that Noah did NOT like me. I didn't like him and I didnt care if he didn't like me like that either, but I at least wished we could be friendly. It was very awkward to be around each other with all this tension between us for no reason at all. I stared forward, focusing on nothing in particular and the radio in the car was suddenly turned down. Chase turned around to look at me and Dana since we were at a red light.

"Wanna go to the beach?" His blue eyes lit up and his curly hair looked so cute around his face. Everyone immediately agreed and began talking about the beach waves and swimming, but Chase was still waiting for us girls to respond.

"Nina?" He asked. "How about it?" I definitely didn't want to be the one to ruin the plans by asking him to take me home, plus I guess it would be a good idea to hang out with our new friends. "Yeah, sure." I smiled and he smiled back.

The drive to the beach was really fun. Dana and I were singing in the van the entire way there. Once we arrived the sun was still shinning and the wasn't packed even though we were in the beginning of summer. As we passed the board walk Dana and I decided to get ice cream and meet the guys on the beach. "Hold up." Noah was jogged up to us and I rolled my eyes.
