My Saturday morning was already starting off very calm and relaxing. I was driving back home from getting starbucks coffee and it was drizzling out. I was happy that when I texted my mom to see if I could use her car today she didn't hesitate to tell me yes. The new job stuff must have been working in my favor because my parents were being extra nice to me since then.

It was definetly the type of saturday that you literally do nothing but stay in and watch movies. Mom and dad were off on another business trip so I had the house to myself. As I parked in my driveway, I noticed someone walking out of Noah's house that wasnt Noah. I got out of the car, and it saw him up close, it was Chase.

"Nina, Hey." Chase smiled when he noticed me. We were almost face to face, only the grass separated us. He wasn't dressed like it was raining. His curly hair was all over his head, he wore blue ripped jeans, and a white t-shirt. I smiled at him. "Just came to get your car?"

"Yeah, I can't find Noah and I had to get a uber here to get it. Have you seen him since last night? His front door is unlocked and everything but he isn't there?"

I shook my head. "Nope." I didn't know neither did I care about what Noah was up to. Chase nodded and glanced at his ringing phone that he was holding.
"Well i'm out, see you soon." He flashes me a killer smile which I return. I sipped my coffee and waved him off as he backed out of Noah's driveway, and left.

Later that day I was four movies deep into my Saturday when my cell phone began ringing.
"Hey Dana." I greeted without taking my eyes away from the Tv. The sponge bob squarepants movie was on and I was fanning out.

"Guess what?" Her voice poured into the phone.
"What?" I said back trying to sound as enthusiastic as her. "Mom is making me go to this charity event held by her job tonight at six. It's suppose to be this really big thing and I can't go alone." Dana explained.

"Aww I'm sorry." I sympathized while watching the mermaid give sponge bob and Patrick fake mustaches. I loved them so much but how the hell did they not realize it was actually just seaweed?
"I can't go to that. I already have something to do today and it's...nothing." I exhaled. I already knew as soon as she mentioned it to me that I was going to have to go with her. Like I said before, every time our parents forced us into these things, we lean on each other for support.

"Nina!" Dana screamed into the phone making me flinch. "Gosh Dana!" I momentarily removed the phone from my ear. "Make me deaf already!"

"Your watching sponge bob aren't you?" She accused knowing damn well that I was. "What's that got to do with anything?"I answered back irritatedly and a little guilty. "Come on Nina, I can't go alone to a charity event with rich snobby people. I won't be able to survive it, I need you there with me Nina pie." She wined and I made a face.

"You know I hate it when you call me that." I rolled my eyes as if she could see me. "Will you come?" Her voice rose an octave. I sighed. "As long as you never call me Nina Pie again then I'll go."
"Ok. NINA PIE!" Dana laughed through the phone.

My eyes widened. "DANA!"

Five hours later Dana and I were in the back seat of Her moms black escalade truck on our way to this yearly charity event that is thrown by dana's Mother's work Company. The rain had cleared up, the sun was out but the ground was still wet so I didn't bother wearing any heels or anything over the top.

"Let me just say that you two look stunning." Her mom complimented for the third time, smiling at us from the passenger side of the car. I was wearing a floor length, silk, dark pink dress. The back was out and I had combed my hair into a ponytail. Dana was Wearing a shorter yellow dress that clung to her thighs. She didn't bother with her hair, she kept it straight, parted down the middle of her head and stilll looked gorgeous. I smiled at her mom. "Thank you miss Diane"
