Derek and I both wake up. Derek's eyes are bloodshot red but he still hasn't said and thing. "Do you want to go downstairs?" I ask with a small smile. All he can do is nod; we exit his room and head down to where we knew his parents would be. Once we got there, I noticed that my dad was here. Derek walked over to his mom and she just hugged him, all you could hear were quite muffled cries. I walked over to my dad and gave him a quick hug. He whispers into my ear "I'm proud of you" I look up at him and smile. Then I look over at Derek who is still hugging his mom, his dad rubbing his back. Cora came in at that moment walking over to me.

"Thank you for helping him. I know he really likes you," she said to me with a big smile.

"Cora darling, can you please take Derek and Stiles to go do something that will get his mind of everything for now." Nathaniel asked his daughter. "Sure thing. Come on Der lets go have some fun. You too Stiles lets go." she grabbed my hand. "Is that okay with you dad?" I asked my dad just to be sure I could go. "Sure thing son but be home within a reasonable hour. School tomorrow remember." I groaned earning chuckles from all the adults and Cora, but Derek remained silent. "Yeah yeah" with that I grabbed Derek's hand as Cora pulled him and me Derek and I outside to the Camaro.

I got in the back while the twins in the front, Cora driving while Derek in the passenger side all he said throughout the drive was "you scratch my car, I will kill you" earning a chuckle from me. Cora just glared at her twin.

"You guys are so cute! You know that!" I say enthusiastically. "Shut up Stilinski!" Cora shot back. I just laughed; Derek was just looking out the window in his own world. "So where are we going?" I said to break the silence and curiosity got the best of me. Cora looked back at me through the mirror. She had a smug smile on "surprise!" She said now looking back at the road. I just huff a response I decided to just play on my phone until we are there once get there I realize we are at the towns arcade. I let out a very unmanly noise. Earning me a laugh from Cora. But nothing from Derek, we enter the arcade. I grab both the Hales hands and pull them to the best games in there.

We have been here for at least an hour. Derek still hasn't smiled. "Come on Derek don't be a sourwolf" he just glares at me and huff at me. "I know that guy hurt you badly, but it won't get better if you don't let yourself have some fun. That guy lost something amazing but if he truly loved you, he would at least tried long distance. But it's his loss so come on sourwolf have some fun please" I told him he looked at me and gave me a small smile. "Fine, but don't call me sourwolf" I just gave him a big smile and did a victory dance and he chuckled. "Coming Stiles?" He said heading towards Cora who was getting into the game, she was playing.

Once we were all having a blast I had an Idea "hey Derek, Cora let's take a picture." "Sure" both twins said at the same time. We had gotten someone to take our picture. Might I say it was an amazing picture, we all looked like the happiest people ever So I had another idea once we got back to the house, I was surprised to see that my dad was still here. Once we walk in all we could hear was laughing. "Hey guys! What did you do?" Mr. Hale asked us once we entered the kitchen. "We went to the arcade, and we took a picture see." I said showing all the parents the picture.

"Beautiful picture you guys!" Talia said as she stood to give a big hug. "Oh I got an idea! Derek can you go get your laptop for me please?" He looked at me very weird than said "why?" I huffed than said "come on sourwolf. Trust me it's for the greater good!" Once I said his new nickname, everyone let out a little laugh. Derek just blushed and ran to grab his laptop. Once he got back, he gave it to me, and sat down next to me. I opened it and went to the settings uploaded the picture that we took at the arcade and made that his screen saver.

"Thank you Stiles" is all Derek said he had a big smile and tears in his eyes. I just gave him a big hug Cora soon came into the hug. We didn't even realize that the parents were taking pictures of us. Once we got out of the hug, I kissed his cheek. "Derek you deserve to be as happy as you possibly can be" he just nodded.

After we had supper said our goodbyes, dad and I went home as soon as I got home I ran to my room. I just had to text Scott and tell him. I know he won't tell anyone the Hales are his friends too he wouldn't want to hurt either of them. So I got out my phone and sent him a text.

To: Scott, Hey dude! You would never believe what I just found out!

From: Scott, Hey! What did you find out?

To: Scott, if I tell you, you have to promise you won't tell a soul. Got it! Or I will cut off your balls! With a freaking butter knife!

From: Scott, Wow dude okay point taken I won't tell a soul. So what did you find out?

To: Scott, Derek's gay!!!
