The days pass as a blur after the day where I found out Derek is gay. I have been helping him to try to forget about his ex, but once game day arrives, it's like everything that was weighing him down just vanished. Once I entered the school it was buzzing with excitement, I could see Derek in all his glory taking to his football teammates. I looked for Cora and found her taking to Scott by my locker. I walked over to them I got close enough to hear but not to be seen when I started to be able to hear their conversation.

It was Scott who was talking now. "You're sure Derek likes him like likes him like more than friends."

"Yes Scott he said that he was going to tell him before the game" Cora told Scott as started to walking over to them. They shut up once I reach them. "Hey guys how's it going," I ask them.

"Hey Stiles. It's going great. Are you and Scott going to come with us to the game? My grandpa is in town and I think you guys should meet him" Cora stated I looked at Scott we both nod as Derek said goodbye to his friends and he walks over to us. "Hey guys! Are you guys excited for the game tonight? You guys are coming aren't ya?" He said getting a bit anxious at the end of his question. I was the one to answer his question. "Hey Derek! Of course, we are coming to your game. Wouldn't miss it for the world. And might I say you look great in your tie and jersey!" As I said this, the anxious look vanished. And a look of pure joy replaced it.

"Thanks Stiles! I think I look quite dashing myself," he said with a smug smile.

"Jeez sourwolf how'd your head fit through the doors" I said with a chuckle Scott and Cora burst into laughter as I said that I look at them out of the corner of my eye I see Derek looking at me he was smiling. Why is he looking at me like that jeez" okay guys let's get to class." I say as they are still trying to control their laughter.

The day went by pretty fast before we know it were at the Hale house. Waiting to head to the game. Cora, Scott, Derek, and I were all in Derek's room as we waited. Derek looked nervous. "Hey sourwolf why so nervous?" I ask with genuine concern. "Pre-game jitters that's all" Derek gave me a small smile but I could totally tell he was lying "not it's not pre game jitters and you know it Derek" Cora gave me a smug smile. "Okay now I'm really confused. Der what's wrong?" I look at him "nothing really" Cora sighed

"God dammit Derek do it!" Cora yelled I was looking at her just as I was about to look at Derek I felt hands on my cheeks and a pair of lips on mine I gasp at the sudden contact but soon I melt into the kiss opening my mouth so he could let his tongue slip into mine. His tongue exploring my mouth. He pulls away and I actually whine at the loss of his lips. I look over at Cora and Scott who have big smiles on their faces.

"Did you guys know about this?" I ask pointing towards Derek. They just nod, I look at Derek and give him a smile before I kiss him again this time I deepen the kiss not realizing that Cora had captured the moment with a photo. "Be my boyfriend? "Derek says during our kiss that all I can do is just nod a response. I don't know how long we have been kissing but our moment is cut short when Derek's parents walking into the room. They gasp as my lips are still connected to Derek's. I hear Derek let out a small growl at his parents. I flick Derek's nose "you don't growl at your parents sourwolf" I can hear everyone in the room laughing as I look at Derek hand on my hips, eyebrows raised "sorry" he says.

I look at his parents as they laugh. "Well boys and lady we got to go but finally Derek's being a man I see. Good for you, congratulations guys you two were meant for each other I can feel it" Mr. Hale said as Mrs. Hale walks up to us and gives both Derek and I a hug before walking out.

Once we got down stairs I saw and older gentleman who looks like Derek and his father but older. "Grandpa!" Derek and Cora yell before running to give him a hug. "Hello my two favorite twins. Who are your friends?" He asks. Derek gave me a smile before he came grabbed intertwining our fingers while Cora grabs Scott's hand. "Grandpa this is my boyfriend Stiles and our friend Scott," Derek said pressing a kiss to my cheek. I blush when he does that, he chuckles and I look at his grandpa who is smiling at the interaction between us "you two are so cute. Nice to meet you Scott" Mr. Hale Sr. I guess it would be said "well sourwolf should we get you to your first game as team captain?" I say with a big smile Derek and the rest nod as we head out of the house.

We reach the field; we hop out of the car. Before Derek leaves to go and change, he stops looks for anyone before placing a passionate kiss upon my lips. He smiles at me "go kick ass sourwolf!" I say before he runs off to go get changed. The Hale family and I except Mr. Hale Sr goes to get seats while Mr. Hale Sr. Waits by the field to give Derek a pep talk, I can already tell this is going to be a good game.
