Her head throbbed as Sky lifted herself up from the cell floor. She found it difficult to keep her balance as she let her eyes adjust to the darkness. She'd lost track of how long she had been trapped in this pitch black hell.
Once she could some what see all she could make out was the unforgiving bars of her cell and an empty chair just outside of them. She could only step a few feet in every other direction before finding a wall so she decided to focus on the bars.
She had been feeling them over for some sort of release mechanism when a light clicked on. It pained her eyes for a brief moment but when she had once again adjusted she was greeted by a man in a lab coat carrying a clip board in one hand and a syringe in the other.
"Skylar...was it...?" He asked blankly. People often assumed Sky was short for Skylar and this irritated her.
"No....just Sky." She growled back
"I see. Well regardless I just needed to know so I can chip you" as he said this he began opening the cell door with a pass code"Where the hell are we?" As Sky said this the man smirked lightly
"Oh hell is right. At least... For you it will be." Before Sky had time to react he lurched forward and grabbed her by the throat with an iron grip and plunged the needle into it. As the contents intruded her veins she began to feel a cool numbing sensation. Her body relaxed and she fell helplessly into the mans arms. No matter how hard she tried her body wouldn't move."Theeeere we go" The man murmured pulling the chair into the cell and resting Sky's limp body in it. Once he had her balanced in the chair he pulled something out of his pocket that looked similar to a price gun.
He laced his fingers through the back of her hair with one hand and lifted the mysterious object with the other. Pulling Sky's hair he tilted her head forward exposing the back of her neck and pressed the machine into it. There was a faint whirring and a sudden "click" then it was over.
"Aaannnd done. See ya later for testing sweetie" he hummed as the man in the lab coat pushed her off the chair, her body still limp from the injection and she fell helplessly to the floor. He then took the chair and set it back outside the cell closing the door and locking it behind him. He flicked the lights back off as he left and Sky was left once again engulfed in darkness
