As Jack stumbled up to the main desk he was still some what shaky from his uppy trip. He rested his hands on the desk front to steady himself as he asked Lisa if containment was still closed off.
Lisa took one glance at him and knew exactly what his deal was. But she's only paid to clock workers in and clock them out, so she kept her mouth shut aside from telling Jack containment was now open again.
Relieved, Jack made his way to the elevator to go visit his new pet toy. He was disappointed he couldn't play with it yesterday. It's ok he thought to himself today will just be that much more fun when the waiting is finally over.
Jack stood in the elevator for a minute caught up in thought before he realized he forgot to push the down button. As he did the doors slowly crept shut to the elevator and Jack made his way back down into the "belly of science"
The elevator let out one final groan before opening to containment. As Jack stepped out and looked around he saw there wasn't many people on the floor right that second with him. He mused "I wonder just how fast the floor would flood if I just so happened to bring harm to one of these petty goggles" (what jack called the "actual scientist's")
When he reached the cells Jack wasn't pleased to see his toy wasn't in it's cell. Instead there was a goggle sitting outside of it writing something down on a clipboard.
" where did it go?" Jack approached the goggle anxiously
"Where did my monster go??" Jack began to raise his voice. If the goggles had taken his toy he was going to make them pay"The beast? They moved her to solitary since your dumbass didn't put the secondary shocker on her. She almost got loose. Oh that reminds me Jackass there's some acid spills over by the loading bay you need to go clean up. Maybe do the world a favor and drink some."
Well that won't do at all Jack thought to himself as he trudged over to the janitorial closet. I can't visit my toy if she's on the wrong floor. This won't work at all. Jack muttered to himself as he grouchily sopped up the mingled acidic chemicals.
Drink some huh? Maybe. Or maybe YOU can. Jack chuckled darkly as he squeezed the contents of his mop into a glass jar that had been sitting on a shelf nearby.
He slipped the jar into his lab coat pocket and put the mop and such back in the closet.
"Jack do this Jack do that Jack clean up after us because we're giant children that can't clean our own messes" he grumbled making his way to the main lab to look around for loose equipment he could play with.
At the end of the day Jack had managed to pocket the spilled acid, a pair of needle nose pliers, a half used roll of duct tape, one of the goggles's "misplaced" keycard and some experimental pills the goggles had been working on. Jack only knew what a few were even supposed to do.
Before clocking out Jack took the elevator up to the floor where they handled the water lines. Nobody had a shift there this late since all they do is maintain the pipes. Jack used the goggles keycard and the heavy metal door slid aside inviting him into the belly of the labs.
Jack made his way to the central pipeline and used a prybar that was conveniently resting nearby to pop open the cap of the pipe. He watched for a brief moment as the water bustled through the pipes. Always busy, always moving.
Jack unscrewed the lid from his acid jar and began pouring the contents into the pipe. Granted it wasn't concentrated enough to kill anyone.
Jack laughed I don't want to kill them. I just wanna make them suffer. A lot.
