Struggles

On my own for now

Marissa's pov.
It's been a over a year now since Harry said goodbye. I see him on the tv all the time, he's been with his ex's and Kendall for a while now. Every now and then I get texts from him asking about the baby. Yes I did have the baby, she weight 8.5 pounds and was the cutest thing ever. Her name is Darcy ann styles, just like Harry wanted. I send him pictures and everything, Darcy knows her dad and I would never take her away from him, kids need their dads in their lives even if the parents aren't together anymore.
    I sighed as my alarm clock went off, I turned it off and threw the covers off of me and got up, Darcy has been sleeping with me every night, she's the best cuddlier ever, she smiles just like Harry to, God I miss him so much. I laugh at the old memories and start to cry. I sat down on the bed and cried a whole bunch, I hate crying in front of Darcy, no kid should have to see that. I finally stopped crying and let Darcy sleep some more, I got dressed and opened the blinds. Darcy woke up after that, I walked into her room and got her dressed for today, Harry has her today so I finally get a day off. Darcy is almost 1, her birthday is this week, but Harry has her so I won't get to see her on her special day. I got her in her cute outfit and set her in her playpen and went downstairs to cook food.
    I heard a knock on the door and I rinsed my hands and opened the door to see Harry standing there smiling. "Hello, is my baby awake?" I smiled but then quickly realized he was talking about Darcy and told him where she was. I went back to cooking and had a plate of eggs and fruit. Harry came down with Darcy in his hands and came over and Darcy gave me kisses and I said goodbye and just like that, he said goodbye and shut the door behind him. Didn't care to talk to me, just wants his kid.
    I watched through the blinds, I saw how happy Darcy was, I never make her smile that much. I sighed and closed the blinds, turned the stove off, lights off everything, locked the door and went back up to bed. I got undressed and put on a movie, my favorite movie, titanic.
I could watch this movie over and over and it never gets old. I ended up staying in bed all day, I miss my baby, I have no life. I sighed and just fall asleep.
The next day I woke up about to cuddle with Darcy but realized she's with Harry, I sighed and got on Twitter.

I smiled at the picture and took a screenshot, yes I'm that mom. I set my phone to the side and got out of bed. I need a job now, I'll have to pay for daycare as well, i know Harry has money but I feel like that's to much to ask.
I get dressed up all nice and go in for an interview. I've decided to work for Nando's, the building is right across the street so I walked across the street and walked in and sat down with the manger. The manger was happy with all my words and said they would call me back in 48 hours to see if I got the job. I walked out with a smile on my face and decided to get on Twitter:

I smiled and took another screenshot and decided to comment: like father like daughter.
I put my phone in my purse and walked into my apartment. I lock the door behind me and set my purse on the table and see a set of flowers on the table with a note.
To mommy: hope your having a nice day, we thought you could use these.
There was a box of chocolates next to the flowers, I smiled and brought the box and card with me upstairs and put it on my dresser and came back and put the flowers in water and went upstairs again and got ready for bed. I was about to get in bed when I hear the doorbell. I was scared at first but went downstairs anyway.
I look through the peep hole and was surprised, it was Harry. I opened the door and let him in with Darcy in his hands. "Hey, can I help you?" He looked at me like he used to when we were together. "She misses her mommy and so did I" I was shocked at the words he just said. "What? Did you just say you missed me? Are you sure you know who your talking to? " I take Darcy and kissed her "you better not be playin with my head" "I'm not playing, I really have missed you, I sent you flowers, I'm guessing you liked them since you posted about it. I want to be in your life to, not just Darcy's." I smiled and hugged him tightly "I've missed you so much" "I've missed you so much more" he kissed me again, oh how I miss his kisses. I brought him over to the couch and set Darcy on the ground to play. "So how has life been?"
  "Life has been rough, as you have seen. I've dated people and I realized that all I want is you. I can't stop thinking about you. I want to take you on a proper date" as he smiled and held my hand. "I can get Louis to watch Darcy, he told me everything over the year, he talked about how the birth went and everything. I should have been there. I've changed now, please let me take you out tonight?"
    I smiled and looked at him "yes, I'd love that Mr. Styles" I laughed and kissed his cheek " let me get changed"
   "Okay just don't take long please, I have reservations"
"Okay!?" I hurried and came down in a beautiful yet simple dress. Harry became speechless when he saw me
"Babe, you look stunning, I'd rip those clothes off you right now if it weren't for our baby right there "
        "Awe babe, you said our baby. Your so sweet"
        "I try, Louis should be here in a minute"
    "Okay, what about Darcy? Is she good on food? I fed her before I gave her to you and haven't fed her since, there's bottles of my milk in the fridge, everything else is in her room."
          "Babe, Louis will take care of everything. This is night just to our selves,oh look he's here."  I smiled and let him in. "Thanks for watching him, we will see you later" we shut the door behind us and Harry opened the door for me, what a gentleman. I got in and buckled while Harry buckled as well.
        "Where we going?" As I looked out the window.
"You will love it!" As we pulled up and there was candle lights along the path to the hill, where a big lantern was.
      "Awe Harry, you didn't have to do this"
   "I know, but I wanted to" he smiled and held my hand. We both got out and walked along the path to the beautiful hill and sat down and had a picnic.
      "Look ever since I met you, I knew you were the one. This is why I wanted to bring you here to do this" Harry got on one knee and looked me in the eyes
"Marissa, I never should have hurt you and I never want to do that again. I promise that what ever happens that we will stay together, I love you with all my heart and you could never give me a headache and my anger issues are gone. I really want to be a big happy family.
    Will you marry me?"
    I was in tears and nodded "yes...yes i will" I laughed and kissed him deeply "I love you Harry Edwards styles"
     "And I love you, future Mrs. Styles"
That night went very nicely and we got home. Darcy was sleeping and Louis was watching tv. We thanked him, gave him dinner and he left. We upstairs to my room and got in bed and fell asleep. I have never slept with a smile so big on my face.
