Lilly really didn't want to walk home but she didn't have much of a choice. Her friends weren't leaving anytime soon and she rather not get a ride from a stranger.

It was cold outside and Lilly brought her jacket close to her chest as she walked down the driveway and down a couple streets.

Wesley could not believe how poorly her friend talked about Lilly. It was like she didn't even matter. He couldn't understand why Lilly is even hanging out with people like her. Why couldn't she see that they weren't her friends?

He took out his previous cigarette and lit it up again, walking out into the cold neighborhood. He didn't remember where Lilly lived but he knew she couldn't have gotten that far. He walked down the block shoving his hands into his pockets keeping the cigarette in his mouth. He remembered Lilly wearing a thin jacket. She must be cold.

He walked a couple blocks down finding not a single trace of her. Just when he was about to give up, he saw brunette haired girl in front of him and he just knew it was her.

"Lilly!"

Lilly turned around surprised that somebody was even calling her name.

"Wesley? What are you doing?"

"Let me walk you home."

Wesley wasn't sure why he liked Lilly's company but he did and that was all that mattered.

"It's okay. I'm capable of walking home by myself."

"Okay well in that case, I'm going to walk home too."

"Don't you have a car?"

"Don't you?"

"I already told you my situation. I got a ride from Maria. Meaning I left my car at home."

"Are you sure you have car? Cause the last time I saw you, I had to give you a ride because you didn't have a car."

"Yes! I wouldn't be lying about having a car", Lilly groans.

"Can't trust anyone." Wesley blows out chemicals shoving his one hand in his pocket.

"You know smoking is bad for you", Lilly said. She couldn't understand why someone would waste their life smoking on something that kills you. There are people out there that would kill to be as healthy and active as they were before they started smoking. Why did people do that to themselves?

"You know I don't care."

"I'm just saying. Why would you want to kill yourself?"

"Maybe because I don't want to deal with life."

"That's not a good enough excuse." Lilly said crossing her arms. There were ways he could cope with whatever he was dealing with. Smoking shouldn't have to be one of them.

"Well I'm sorry princess but that's the truth."

He finished the cigarette, throwing it on the ground and stepping on it.

"So what happened to Maria?"

"Eh she's not my type."
