The smell of alcohol hits Lilly's nose and she's scrunches up her face. Lilly hated the smell of alcohol. As she meets the house, she gets blinded by teenage bodies dancing and drinking all over the place. She really didn't want to be here. She should of just said no to her friends instead of letting them persist her.

Maria ditched Lilly as soon as they got inside the house leaving her all alone. She didn't know what to do so she found the nearest couch to sit on.

This is another reason why Lilly didn't want to come. Her friends would always ditch her and she would spent her entire night here on someone's couch. She was tired of doing the same thing over and over again. Her friends didn't treat her right yet she kept them.

After a couple of minutes of sitting on the couch, Lilly decided she would look for Maria and ask if they could leave. She really didn't want to stay any longer.

"My, my, Lilly. I didn't expect this pleasant visit."

Lilly new that voice all too well. For months she couldn't get it out of her head and now it somehow managed to crawl right back in. She turns around and faces her ex.

"Hello Michael."

"I didn't expect to see you here." He looks her up and down. "You're looking sexy as ever."

"What do you want Michael?" She folds her arms. Lilly wasn't up to playing games with Michael. She wanted to be done with him and done with this conversation.

"I see you're still sour."

"Sorry, I don't kiss up to jerks like you."

"Come on baby. When are you going to get over it?"

"You cheated on me and you expect me to forgive you? I honestly thought I loved you with all my heart, Michael. Do you even understand that? I gave you everything you wanted, did everything for you and you didn't care", Lilly raises her voice.

"I'm sorry babe, okay? I miss you." He walks closer to Lilly wrapping his hands around her waist. "Let's go upstairs so we can talk alone", he whispers into her ear.

She pushes him off, fixing herself before looking back at him with a disgusted look. "Fuck off."

"Why are you such a cold hearted bitch?" He yells making people start to stare but Lilly's to focused on Michael to even notice.

"Because cold hearted bitches know when to move past trash."

Lilly moves past him feeling a satisfaction swarm over her. Normally Lilly would never talk to anyone like that but Michael had been giving her trouble since freshman year. All throughout the relationship, if you can even call it that, consisted of him bringing her down and her not being able to fight for herself. And because of this, she's still even afraid now to express how she really feels. She was so afraid that Michael wasn't going to love her anymore when in reality he never did.

She entered the kitchen slouching over the counter. She gave up looking for Maria. There was no way she was going to find her through the hundred of people that were swarming all over the house. She had no way of getting home so it was going to be a long night.

Lilly could feel the burning fire in her chest. Why did, out of all people, she had to bump into her ex? He always brought out the worst in her and she hated it. She always let him get to her. She needed to vent. She needed to let it all out, scream even. Whatever it took to release this pent up angry and hatred towards this man.
