The leaves crunches underneath his foot as he walked up to the door. It was September, one of his favorite months. He threw his cigarette bud on the ground before proceeding on his path. It was cold outside but it was even colder in Wesley's heart. He looked around as he entered the school late. He figured nobody would even care if he was gone for a little bit. Might as well take advantage of that.

He didn't bother stopping by his locker as he passed by it. All he was going to do in class was sleep so what was the point in getting something he wasn't going to work on?

Plus there was literally five minutes of class remaining. It was a miracle he was even showing up for his next one. He didn't know why he was deciding now not to just skip that class too, actually he did, he was bored.

He stood outside the classroom door, waiting for the five minutes to pass by, not ready to go in. As much as he wanted to be anywhere but here, he had nowhere to go. He was bored and tired.

The bell ringed signaling that class ended and your time to get to your new one starts now. Wesley looked down at his attire. He was still wearing his famous white shirt and black jeans that the girls seemed to go crazy for. He grinned at himself, he was such a player. He hadn't realize the now available classroom getting filled up with the students that were passing by to get in. He pulls out a clear water bottle that contains vodka and lets the clear substance touch his lips and slide down his throat before he walks in.

Lilly watched as the boy rolled in taking a seat a couple of tables in front of her. He looked tired and drained and also looked like he might have been crying.

Lilly felt so bad for the boy. He was broken and he continued to pretend that he was okay.

A months ago Wesley brother was in a band and because he was in a rock band, people would just assume he did drugs. So finally one day, he decided to do an experiment and try every drug. This continued on for months. He would go to bars, get drunk, go to the bathroom, snort a little something and then go back and drink more. Finally one day his body just gave up and his system shut down and he was throwing up everywhere but no one thought anything of it because that's what Wesley's brother always did. He partied too hard, threw up, and passed out. Little did they know that his two friends had to carry him out of the club and onto the curb and that's where he had a seizure. And eventually his heart couldn't support any longer and gave out. By the time the ambulance arrived, Wesley's brother stopped breathing.

It broke every inch of Wesley's heart when his parents told him the news. Of course, he was in denial. He just couldn't believe that something like this happened to his own brother. He refused to believe it. But after the funeral, it hit him hard and that's when he realized he had lost his best friend.

After that he changed and claimed he was alright, that he was better.

But deep down he was hurting and Lilly new that. She just wanted him to be happy again even if she didn't know him. No one should go through something like that alone.

After Wesley found out what happen to his brother, he changed completely. The person he was before was replaced with someone who drank too much and slept around like it was a job. He went out to party's, started hanging out with the wrong crowd, he even smoked a couple times, mostly weed. He would get into fights almost daily, coming home with bloody knuckles and the smell of alcohol lingering on his clothing. He was a big mess but he claimed to be living the time of his life.
