It was finally Friday and the sound of the bell was like music to each and every student that poured out of the classrooms. No more teachers, no homework, no more stress. Just relaxation.

Lilly headed for her locker making sure not to take forever since Wesley was waiting on her from his car. She was still car-less until next week.

"Wow, look who it is! I haven't seen you around", Ashlyn's voice bursts out.

"Yeah", Lilly looks up and sees Ashlyn. She nods her head not trying to be rude but she rather not be having a conversation with Ashlyn at the moment.

"Where have you been? Me and Maria miss ya."

Yeah, sure you do.

"Around." Lilly didn't mean to be so short but she also didn't want to tell Ashlyn that she had been hanging out with Wesley because she knew the minute she told Ashlyn, she would immediately tell Maria.

"Oh, well we're going bowling." Ashlyn says inferring to her and Maria.

"Oh." Lilly shouldn't have been surprised. They always left her out in things. That's just how things were.

Ashlyn saw Lilly's face drop and quickly replied, "You can come join us if you want?"

"That's okay, I'm kind of hanging out with Wesley anyways."

If they didn't care enough about her then she shouldn't have to hide the fact that she was hanging out with Wesley all because Maria had a fling with him.

"Why don't you invite him?" Maria says popping out of nowhere and appearing in the conversation.

"W-What?"

"You heard me. Invite him. It should be fun, the four of us."

"I-I don't know if he would be up to it. We kind of had things planned..."

"Well if you don't want to go, you can just say so", Maria crosses her arms throwing a fit, though she knew exactly what she was doing.

"No no, it's not that it—"

"Great! Then call him up and see if he can come", Maria persists.

"Oh Um...okay. If you really want me to?" Lilly pulls out her phone to call Wesley.

"Here let me speak to him", Maria says snatching Lilly's phone out of her hands and pressing it against her ear.

"Hello?" The voice of Wesley raspy voice (seeming that he just woke up even though he was just sitting in the car) plays through the phone.

"Hey, this is Maria, Lilly's best friend. Anyways, we are going bowling and you are invited. Meet us there around seven. Okay ciao."

Before she could even give Wesley the chance to respond, she hangs up the phone and hands it back to Lilly.

"See, all done."

"She didn't even give me a chance to respond", Wesley states annoyed that he couldn't have said no on the phone prior to how stubborn Maria was.
