**Callie POV**
Earlier
Pushing my way through the crowd, I try to find Zayn again, but he's not in the spot I last saw him at. He's probably looking for me.
A hand grips my arm forcefully and I jump.
"Hey Callie," a voice says. My blood freezes as I recall the scratchy, low voice from what seems like an eternity ago that scary night.
"Get away from me!" I shout but before I have a chance to run away he grabs both of my hands and pushes me away from the crowd, towards the stairs.
"Stop it! Let me go!" I shout, but it's useless against the almost deafening music. He pushes me further faster and I thrash around. He's holding me too tightly.
"Don't worry, I'm not going to rape you or murder you, I'm only going to lock you in here and use you as blackmail," he whispers once we are in an empty room upstairs.
Mike takes a roll of duct tape and two plastic ties out of his pocket. He rips a strip of duct tape and moves towards me.
I try to run from him but he's too fast for me. Mike seals the duct tape over my mouth and quickly reaches for the ties, tying my arms and legs together. He picks me up and sets me down on the bed.
"I'll be back for you later," he grins evilly and walks out of the room. I hear the lock click.
I know screaming won't help, and I know wiggling in the ties will only make them tighter. Once again, I feel alone, scared, and helpless. It seems no matter what I do to stay away from trouble, it always ends up finding me.
**Zayn POV**
Now
My fist connects with Mike's cheek, sending him backwards as he stumbles into a crowd of your stereotypical frat boys. They all shoot him dirty glares but Mike ignores them, his eyes narrowing into slits as he seethes at me.
"That's exactly what I was aiming for," he smirks. "I like this side of you much better than your other, I wonder what people would think if they saw this side of you,"
"You have no idea how much I want to kill you," I mutter.
"Then why don't you?" He is risking his life just to taunt me, and I don't get why.
"Is this about that stupid fight we had at Tenth Hour that one night?" I groan.
"That wasn't just any fight," he growls, stepping towards me so our toes are touching and he is face to face with me. "My buddies and I made a bet, if I could beat your ass up then they'd give me two grand, and if you beat me, I'd have to give them two grand," the look in his eyes shows how much he loathes me and how much he wants to make me pay. "I lost two grand that night, probably two months' worth of my salary. I was supposed to beat you,"
"That was self-defense," I shout back. A crowd had begun to gather and a few of them are already starting to chant for us to fight. I close my eyes, trying to block them out, because I know that if I hear another second of it I will be the one to throw the first punch.
"Hear that Malik? They want us to fight," he steps backwards and beckons me towards him. "So what are you waiting for? Let's settle this once and for all," he grins.
"No," a voice says from behind me. I spin around, and I'm surprised to see Harry standing behind me. The crowd groans and disperses when Harry shoots all their dreams down by stopping a fight.
"What the hell are you doing here?" I feel bad for snapping at him but he just ignores me.
"I'm saving you from making a terrible decision," he calmly states.
"I don't need you to babysit me," Harry ignores me once more and beelines to Mike and grabs him by the collar and spins him around, backing him into a wall.
"Stay the hell away from Zayn," Harry orders.
"I will of he agrees to giving me two grand," he chokes out.
"What the fuck?" Harry releases him and looks at me.
"Apparently there was a bet for two grand on one of our fights," I'm slowly calming down but my anger is still fueled to the brim.
"I want my money back,," he growls. "Don't forget I know exactly where Callie is," he smirks. Harry spins around and pins him to the wall again, getting in his face.
"What does she have to do with this?" Harry roars.
"Nothing," Mike replies. "I just chose the person that would hurt the most if I did anything to them," he turns to me. "It's just sad how you have to have someone else fight for you," he says with a disgusting grin.
"Shut the fuck up and tell us where Callie is," I've never seen Harry this violent before, and I'm surprised it's over Callie.
"No can do bud," he smiles lazily and I step forward and punch him in the jaw. He flinches, for a moment but then he laughs like a maniac.
"You have to have your friend hold me back while you beat the shit out of me," he laughs even more.
"There's nothing wrong with having a little help,"
"Pussy," he spits at me.
"No, I'm not a pussy, I just have common sense, something you lack," it's my turn to smirk and he gapes at my sass.
"Fuck you," Mike is fuming and I can see Harry tighten his grip on his arm.
"I'd rather not," I reply. Harry is now laughing, as opposed to the violent demeanor he was showing before.
"Now, tell us where Callie is," Mike's arm is now slightly purple due to the strong grip that's cutting off his circulation.
"Give me my money and I will," I punch him in the gut without hesitating and he lets out a howl of pain, and a few people look over at us but don't bother to help.
"You have one more chance before I kick the living shit out of your balls and stop you from having any future children," My foot hovers around his crotch area and he opens his eyes in fear.
"She's upstairs in the third room to the right," he gasps out as my foot inches nearer and nearer. I kneel down so I'm face to face with him and he looks down, refusing to meet me in the eyes.
"If you're lying to me right now, I'm going to track you down and do much worse than eliminate your future dreams of having children, got it?" I growl. "Stay away from me, from Callie, from Harry, and from everyone and anybody I care about, you hear me?" he nods frantically and Harry releases him.
"Look who's the pussy now," I laugh.
"Come on, let's go get Callie," Harry tugs me up the stairs.
