i'm sure all of you have heard the news, so i'm not gonna bother to say it and salt the wound even further. you're all probably as heartbroken as me, and that's completely understandable. we are all shocked.

one direction has always been an important part of my life, since 2012. this band has always meant the world to me. they hold a special place in my heart that nobody could ever touch or replace, and they are incredibly important me. but no matter how sad and angry and hurt you may feel about his sudden decision, zayn taught us all you have to value your own happiness above all, and that's exactly what he did. he did what's best for him, and we must respect that.

please don't pressure him to come back. please don't send him threats. please don't beg him to return. please. you know he won't, and we have to respect him and his choices. he wishes to continue his life without the spotlight, and he knows that is what's best for him. isn't that what we want? for him to have the happiness and joy that he deserves in his life?

i don't know how this will affect my fanfic, but i won't delete this or anything because he will always be a member of one direction in my eyes and i will hold on to every moment and memory they've created.

this is extremely carroty but... one last time hey?

from the bottom of the stairs to the top of the charts, here's to the band that stole my heart.

i love you zayn, and i wish you the absolute best in the new chapter of your life. you deserve the world and everything more. don't forget the boys, don't forget the memories, don't let us go, and most importantly, don't forget your fans; please don't forget us.
