Cherubim

“Kuya! Let's go!”,I whined as I heard him complaining why I was in this school too.

I am Cherubim, I'm tall and I like my hair tied up into pigtails! I am not fat yet I'm not skinny, my weight is just fine. I love ripped jeans, long sleeves and sneakers. I hate heels, dresses and make-up.  I'm tall but my brother's taller. As in TALLER. Damn,right? Oh, I love pastries that making them had been my specialty. My brother loves my works too much, I'm my brother's little girl.

Then shit happened.

“Babe! You're finally here!” Oh! Here comes Star Level Confectioner. Hmp, more like bitch.

“Candy!”,Kuya called here as she clinged into him. Ew. EW.

The bitch looked at me and smirked,“Hello there, Cherubim.”

I rolled my eyes at her and walked away, ignoring my precious brother calling me. Magsama silang dalawa!

“Girl!” I stopped walking when I heard that familiar voice and I looked at her. Oh my gosh. “Miss me?”

I immediately ran to her and hugged her tight,“Binnie bunny!”

“You're here too,huh? What a coincidence.”,she stated in a nice tone like the usual. Nakakamiss!

Binnie has been my bestfriend since we're in our mothers' womb. She knew I hate that Candy girl's guts, she knew how pesky I am. It's like she had been a member of the family too! Oh, she's an idol too. Ang galing di'ba?

“What's your title,Binnie?”,I asked her.

“Star level pop icon.”,she stated then smiled,“How about you?”

Oh.. how unfortunate though. I'm going to this school.. yet..

“I don't have one.”

“What?”,she gasped.

“I don't have one.”,I repeated my answer

“But why?”

“Confectioner was supposed to be the title that was given to me but someone scouted Candy and took that, I'm completely nameless as of now.”,I said as I looked away.

I felt awful, not having a title at this prestigious school feels like that.

“How about your brother? I heard he was scouted here too,right?”,tanong niya ulit,“And hey, you have a lot of good points too. Magaling ka sa Literature at tambay ka sa library, student librarian ka nga di'ba? You wouldn't be nameless for that long because the teachers would notice your other talents!”

“I hope so.”,tugon ko as I walked with her inside the school.

Everyone was looking at Binnie as if she was a precious diamond and they're looking at me like I'm a piece of trash. Nakakainis lang. Well, me and Binnie are two different people. She loves to wear dresses, make up and heels.. while I don't. She loves to express what she feels and is loved by everyone.. I'm a complete opposite of that. Pastries, books and literature are my only escape from the cruel reality.

“Binnie.”,a cold looking guy suddenly stopped Binnie and Binnie smiled at him then looked at me,“Is she the one you're talking about?”
