i walked along the pavement to get to the parking lot and get in my car.

i unlock the car and insert the key in the ignition. chanyeol sits shotgun.

"how do you know my name?" i ask him, getting out of the parking lot.

"jongdae talked about you a lot."

"what did he say?"

"that you were annoying. but, i think you're interesting."

and then silence. the whole drive to my house, silent.

"i hope you won't be stealing things, seeing as your best friend is a police."
