"Uncle Bren." I sit up, I was half-lying on his lap.

I always sit like that when I am with him. Don't judge me.

"I happened to pass that room. And I overheard you talking to some 'Jennifer'. This is awesome, but England?" He says, as he plays with my hair.

"I know, but I really need this. I am not going to college also I don't want to depend on Dallon for the rest of my life." I say.

"Phoenix, you are a kid." Brendon laughs.

"I am 18, and you are an oldie." I cross my arms.

"Hey, I am not old like your Dad!" He kisses my forehead, "When do you plan to tell him?"

"I have to leave for England next week." I say.

"Then today."

"I don't know how will he react." I sigh.

"He will be happy." Brendon smiles.

"You are nice."

"Nice?"

"Okay-ish, more on the bad side." I say making him laugh.

------

"How was the speech?" I ask.

"Kate's was funny. She literally dissed the entire school." Dallon laughs.

"I was not even kidding." Kate shrugs.

"And mine?" I ask.

"Amazing. The way you talked, it was really nice." Dallon smiles, "And you actually gave a shoutout to Brendon."

"Hell yeah she did!" Brendon high-fives me.

"Dad?"

"Yeah."

"How do you plan on handling two kids?" I ask.

Dallon plays with my hair, "I have no idea. You and Amelie are quite a handful and capable of breaking my nose. I think Knox will be fun too."

"Yeah, he will be." I say, "I hope he does not get too pressurised under two bullies."

"Bullies?"

"Maybe. Just saying." I shrug my shoulders.

"He will have fun." Dallon kisses my forehead.

How will I tell him about me going back to England. I sigh and keep looking at Amelie who was playing with Levi's hair.

-----

My phone buzzes. Amelie was sleeping beside me. Peaceful.

I unlock my phone and see that it was an e-mail from Jennifer. It had all the details about my new apartment, office and the usual stuff.

I take a print out of all the emails and stick a note with it.

Dad, Breezy, Amelie, Knox, Zero,

I should've told you this earlier. But I had no idea how, but I've got a job, I don't want to leave anyone of you. But I also don't know whether this is right or not.

But Dad, your Phoenix grew up.

I leave for England in a week. I don't want to but you know.

-Phoenix

I keep it on the table and move back to my room. I sit near the door and keep looking out side through the slip of the door.

I notice some movement; for some reason that sounded like someone would say in a horror movie. But also I am Phoenix and will say it anyway.

Dallon was there, he looks through the prints and holds my note in his hand, his face falls off. "Breezy!"

"Yeah?"

Dallon picks up his car keys, "I am leaving and will come back after sometime. Or I don't know when."

Breezy comes out, "What?" But Dallon was already gone. Breezy's gaze falls on the table as well. She puts Knox in his cradle and come back. "Phoenix, I know you are sitting near the door."

"How did you?" I stammer.

Breezy smiles, "I am a mother of two, I know.

"Umm--"

"Phoenix what is this?"

"I've got the job." I reply, "But I don't want to leave."

"Phoenix this is great." She rubs my shoulder, "This is actually amazing."

"But Dallon?"

"It is a little hard for him to accept. But you can make him understand." She smiles, "Go and find him, also because he needs to buy some diapers for Knox."

-----

Where would Dallon go? In such a big city where the hell am I going to find him?

Brendon's? No.

Kenny? Nopity nope.

Dan? Too easy to guess.

I call Dallon, he he does not pick up. Good, I just wanted to know whether his phone is on or not.

I open up the tracking app on my phone. And enter Dallon's number, it showed that Dallon was at Josh's house.

For some reason that sounded like someone would do in a detective movie; but I am Phoenix, so I'll be winging it.

Finally I reach Josh's house and see Dallon's car in front of it. I move inside and see Dallon sitting with Josh, "Found you."

"I don't want to talk to you." Dallon crosses his arms.

"Dad."

"I've already stated what I have to say." Dallon raises his hands.

"Phoenix was right." Josh says, "Amelie is a carbon copy of Dallon."

"Funny." Dallon rolls his eyes.

"Totally like Amelie." Josh laughs.

"Jokes apart, men/boys/kids." I say, "Dad, I love you. But I need this."

"Okay, fine." He pouts, "But England is too far."

"I know, Dad." I kiss his cheek.

"Okay. You go to England." He says.

"So, this leaves us to convince only one person." Josh sighs.

"Amelie." Dallon and I say in unison.
