Chapter 3: Potatoes and Purple Furniture (Tyrone)

As Tyrone and the gang pulled up to Austin's house on the school bus Tyrone realized the confused expression on Tasha's face.

"Um, Tasha. You alright there?" Tyrone asked.

"Oh Tyrone, it's nothing! Thank you for caring so much about the way I feel. I truly apprecia-" Tasha started to say.

"Tasha what's wrong?" Pablo asked carefully.

"Are you sure this is the right house because my house is right by yours, Austin?" Tasha explains

"Why do you care so much, Pablo?" Uniqua asked angrily.

"What is happening?" Tyrone whispers to Austin.

"Oh well Tasha we aren't the only people who live close. The people between us are Pablo and Uniqua." Austin said as his peppy self. Uniqua rolled her eyes but no one notices besides Tyrone. Tyrone gives a confused glare back.

"And me guys! I'm right in the middle!" Tyrone jumped with joy. It was silent for awhile until Pablo stated sarcastically, "Oh yeah Tyrone too!" They all walked in to Austin's house which included a lot of potatoes and purple furniture.

"I welcome you all to 'Casa De Austin'! I can provide you snacks. Would you like your potato mashed, fried, grilled, or boiled?" Austin questioned.

"I'm good." The rest said in sync.

"Okay more for me!!" Austin jumped with joy. Austin ran into the kitchen to enter his 'Potato Galore.' He comes back with Potato Knishes in his right hand and a bag of potato chips in his left.

"Okay! Let's get started!" Pablo stands up facing the rest like a teacher almost. Tyrone gives him a confused expression.

"I was thinking we split up into pairs which I have a pretty good idea of who would work with who best and-"

"Hey, hey, hey! Who made you the king of Austin's house and this project?"Tyrone interrupted.

"Do you have a better idea?" Pablo asks with his arms crossed. Tyrone stands up next to him mocking Pablo by crossing his arms as well.

"Actually, I do! It's Austin house so why doesn't he choose?" Tyrone says while uncrossing his arms. Tyrone was now praised with joy.

"I agree with Tyrone! Poor Austin!" Tasha accidentally squeals. Tyrone gives a subtle wink back.

"I think I just died inside." Tasha whispered to Uniqua. Tyrone was totally oblivious to the fact she said this. Tyrone noticed the scowl on Uniqua's face.

"Geez Uniqua, I can see your negativity from a mile away!" Tyrone chuckled. Uniqua shook her head horizontally informing him that what he said was false. He knew she was lying.

"Yeah Uniqua chill girl." Austin jumped up still happy about what Tyrone had said and he was trying to be like him.

"Okay now that AUSTIN is front and center for once in his life AUSTIN will choose who pairs up with who. No one will fight AUSTIN on it." Austin states. Tyrone and Pablo sit down and let Austin speak which is not common. Tyrone supported his new buddy.

"Why are you speaking in third person?" Tasha questioned. Austin gave her a deathly stare.

"Oh..ok..nevermind...please stop your scaring me." Austin then switches back to his weird merry self.

"Anyways, before I was rudely interupted, I was going to say that the partners are going to be Tyrone and I and..." Austin started to say. Tyrone jumps up.

"Yeah man! You are my bestie for life! Fist bump!" Tyrone reached out for a fist bump. Tyrone saw that Austin really took this to heart because no one liked him that much. He wanted Tyrone to be an official member of the group but the others probably would never let happen.

"Thank you Tyrone for appreciating my exist-" Austin got cut off.

"Yeah, yeah we get it." Pablo casually stated. Tyrone felt like he really belonged and was very welcomed. Tasha gave an upsetting expression towards Uniqua because she wanted to be with Tyrone.

"And Tasha and Pablo can be together!" Austin continued. Tasha still had an upset expression on after the results. However Pablo was secretly excited to be working with Tasha because of his massive crush on her.

"Um excuse me, Austin. Aren't you forgetting someone?" Uniqua asked in a sassy tone. Austin gave a confused expression but then realized what she was talking about.

"Oh yeah. You can go with Tasha and Pablo." Austin said with no expression. Uniqua eyes lit up because of her group.

"Hey maybe letting Tyrone and Austin in charge wasn't such a bad idea." Pablo said.

Tyrone than thought, "Geez, it's so dramatic in this group... I love it!"
