John walked down the hallway with his rugby buddies. They were laughing and punching each other playfully; normally John would've joined in, but he was mostly preoccupied at the moment. I can't believe my own daughter is dating another girl! You are no child of mine, get out of my house!! John's father's words echoed through his head. Harry had finally had the courage to come out to their father last night. The result? She got kicked out of the house and their father punched a shining new whole in the wall. Poor John had quietly retreated to his room, he wasn't about to make the same mistake with his bisexuality. His father's outburst only made John feel guilty about liking Sherlock and he thought it best if he just try and forget him. Unfortunately for John, that was easier said than done.

Because John was so lost in his thoughts, he didn't notice the dark, lanky figure standing in front of him. He bumped into it.

Oh my God! It's Sherlock Bloody Holmes!

Christ! It's that boy who was watching me dance yesterday.

They both stared at each other for an awkward moment before John had the courage to say something," Sorry. Erm, for bumping into you. I wasn't paying attention."
"It's alright. No harm done."

Wow. His voice is so deep. Attractive?

Stop talking to him now. He's gonna find out you're a freak! Sherlock started to walk away. And John was going to let him until he thought of something. He gently gripped Sherlock's arm in an effort to pull him back. Sherlock spun around willingly," Yes?" "Um," John began," I'm sorry if I maybe... I dunno. Weirded you out yesterday? When I was watching you dance? I didn't mean to." Sherlock seemed perplexed by this, "Why would you think you weirded me out?" John started to shuffle his feet around nervously, "Because I know that if I were trying to practice rugby I wouldn't want a stranger staring at me the whole time." "Oh. Yes. Of course. But you didn't weird me out." "Okay, cool," John smiled warmly up at the taller boy.

"C'mon, Watson!" The rugby players beckoned John to practice.

"Uh, I gotta go! See ya around?"
"See ya."
"I'm John by the way. John Watson."
"Goodbye John."

Sherlock's head was spinning like a top. John Watson. John Watson, captain of the rugby team. Touched. My. Arm
