No Love

Mia's POV
I heard Abby walking up the steps. "Hey Mia, it's time to wake up. I am making breakfast already. I'm waking you up extra early so we have time to get ready and run some errands. Is that okay with you?" Run some errands? Who runs errands before school? Who even runs errands this early? "Uh... Yeah. That's fine." It wasn't fine. I wanted to lay in bed alone. I got up, brushed my teeth, combed my hair, and put some pants on. I walked downstairs to find the table all set up with plates full of bacon, pancakes, sausage, and a jug filled with milk, and another one filled with orange juice. I will admit, Abby is a great cooker. She should be on one of those cooking shows. (She would win) "Why is there so much food? We are never going to finish this." "Oh. Well, we have company coming over in a bit." What? Why? Why is there company this early? I wondered what was going on. I couldn't understand why. That was weird. "And who could it possibly be?" Hmm. Well, my sister does have a lot of friends, but I don't think it would be them. "Evan. I know this sounds crazy, but he was the one asking if he could come over. He is going to spend the night here just for a few nights because he wants to visit, and he doesn't have so much money for a hotel. And it's pretty expensive here." WHY IS EVAN COMING?! I was so confused. Why would she even agree to this?! This isn't my sister. This isn't like her. She would never say yes. "AND WHY? WHY IS HE COMING? YOU DIDN'T EVEN ASK ME! WHY DID YOU AGREE?!" I wanted to scream in her ear. This was unacceptable. I can't do this. "Oh come on! Stop being such a baby! He has changed." DID SHE SERIOUSLY JUST CALL ME A BABY?! I FEEL LIKE SHE DOESN'T EVEN CARE ANYMORE! I FEEL LIKE I DON'T EVEN KNOW HER! "DID HE? DID HE REALLY?! THIS... THIS ISN'T LIKE YOU!! WHY WOULD YOU AGREE?!" I stood up, looking at her with the look of death, then began to stomp up the stairs. I slammed my door shut. "I'M NOT GOING TO SCHOOL! FORGET ABOUT THE ERRANDS! I'M STAYING HERE, AND I'M NOT COMING OUT UNTIL HE IS GONE!! GONE I TELL YOU!!" I yelled through the door.

Abby's POV
Wow. I have never seen her this angry. Did I really upset her that much? Oh come on. I mean she'll be fine. Right? Oh look at the time. Evan will be here soon. "Mia please! Please come down!! He will be here soon! Mia!" I honestly have no clue if she heard me or not. I tried to yell, but something stopped me. It was like I didn't want to yell at Mia. I cleaned the table up and made it look presentable. I understand why she doesn't want to go to school. But why is she this upset? It wasn't Evan's fault mom got cancer. Mabey she just needed a little time....
