Heart Broken

Evan's Visit Part 1

Mia's POV
After my little fight with Abby, I never came out of my room. I was furious though... She didn't even think to ask me if it was okay, nor did she even warn me about it. Luckily, Evan had some business to attend too. So he couldn't make it yesterday. But apparently while I'm at school Abby is going to pick him up from the airport. Yay.

Abby's POV
I'm worried about Mia. She never came out of her room last night to even say good night. I didn't bother to check in on her. I knew she would just attack me anyways. Today is when I pick up Evan. I'm going to the airport right after I drop off Mia at school. It takes about an hour and a half to get there. We don't live close by. But I know after a few days Mia will start warming up. I really don't understand why she is so against him. He really didn't do anything. He is actually a nice guy once you get to know him.

Mia's POV
Abby has been calling me for the past few minutes. I really don't want to go. But I don't want to be stuck here with Mr. Butthole all day. "Mia please! We need to go! We don't want to be late! Evan is about to get off the plane and I haven't even started heading that way yet! Mia!!" I got out of bed and did the usual. I tried to look cute for once, but I am not a cute kinda girl. And I don't ever want to be.

Abby's POV
Mia hasn't came out of her room yet. I've called her, I've knocked on the door, but I didn't want to even try going in. Who knows what she'll do to me. Finally, Mia came out of her room, ate her break fast, and got in the car. I watched her out the window to see what she was doing. She just sat there in her phone. As usual.

Mia's POV
Once I got ready I went downstairs and ate breakfast, the got in the car. I avoided all eye contact with Abby. I am giving her the silent treatment. She hates it when I do that, because she always assumes I'm planning an evil thought to do to her. It's like she thinks I'm a witch or something...
After Abby finally got in the car, she started heading to my school. "Mia, please. He didn't do anything and you know that. He's our father. You should at least greet him." I didn't want to greet him. I wanted too punch him in the face, and send him back home. After Abby talked and talked and talked for a while, we were finally here. Hallelujah. I got out of the car, and Abby wished me good luck, and drove off. I walked past a few boys that were whispering about something. I stopped. "A-Are you talking about me, by any chance?" I asked. I had to know. I can't help it I'm sorry. "Oh! Uh yeah... We we're just saying how cool those converse(shoes) were. Nice shoes btw." Once kid said to me. "Oh yeah. Like I believe that. I'm in freaking 10th grade. I'm not stupid. I wasn't born yesterday. C'mon. Tell me. Tell me what you were saying." I demanded too know. Was it rumors? Was it gossip? "Well, uh you see, my friend Jordan here kinda likes you.. So uh *coughs* Matt kinda um started a rumor that you two were going out. " ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME?! JORDAN LIKES ME?! NO WAY! THIS IS POSSIBLY THE MOST BEST RUMOR I HAVE EVER HEARD OF!! OF COURSE I WILL GO OUT WITH HIM!! But I gotta stay casual. Go with the flow. Don't make it obvious that you like him. "Oh yeah that's cool. You know, if you ever want to go out for lunch sometime that would be cool." Did I seriously just ask him that?! I'm such an idiot! "Oh that would be great. So I guess the rumor is true then?" I honestly don't know. Is he asking me to be his girlfriend?! No. Take it nice and slow. Friends first. "Guess so." He winked at me and I smiled back. I started walking again towards the school. I sat down in class, and got my books ready. "Pssst." "Psssst." I look over my shoulder to see Emily, one of my close friends, trying to get my attention. "What?" "Is it true that you and Jordan like each other? Or is that a fib?" What was I gonna say too my best friend? No? Yeah? The truth. That's what I'm gonna tell her. "Well, Parker said that he liked me. Then I got shocked and asked him out. I'm such a dork!" "No you're not! You just really like him. That's all. None less." I'm glad too have Emily. She so sweet and supportive. I don't know what I would do without her...

So Sorry about the long chapter lol (・ω・) I get too involved😂 anyways, thank you so much for getting this far! I didn't think this was gonna be that great. And sorry for making this is in two parts... Evan will come I promise! Lol have a great day and enjoy life. Thanks again!!
