Ravyn
Save.I smiled to myself and closed my laptop. The ending to another great chapter. I looked up and sighed blissfully.
I was sitting on my favorite bench under an old birch tree at my park. Of course not my park, but that's what I called it. It was a small little play area a few blocks from my flat that was usually empty.
It was very quiet and peaceful here, one of the only places I could escape long enough to write a good chapter.
I did this every Wednesday morning. When the sun was bright and rising, and the air was quiet and calm. Before the stress of the day could rob me of my creative flow.
I tilted my head back and closed my eyes, letting the sunlight filter through my eyelids, making my face warm and my sight a soft red.
After only a few minutes of this, a whistle blew from somewhere in the city.
I sighed heavily. I wasn't sure what exactly that whistle was used for, but it blew like clockwork, every day at 7.
That was always my cue to leave. I stuffed my computer into my bag and stood up. Giving the park a final glance, I followed the path back to the road and walked the few blocks back to my flat.
Once back inside where there were pizza rolls and Wi-Fi, I sat down at my desk to upload my new chapter.
My current story already had 304 reads. I hoped my viewers would enjoy this chapter.
As I scrolled through some of the comments on the previous chapters, my stomach rumbled, and I glanced at my kitchen.
I didn't have to get up and check to know my pantry was bare. I was in desperate need of a trip to the market.
