-Stephen's POV-
Not now Elena.
By this point I was overly frustrated. Damon chose the perfect time to pay me a visit. I had to get Elena out of here. Damon would only screw things up one way or another.
I walked passed Damon who didn't move a muscle and grabbed Elena's wrist pulling her into the house. As she was inside and I began closing the door something about Damon just didn't seem right. His facial expression confused me. I couldn't quite read it. He didn't know Elena wasn't one of us, a vampire. So why look at her this way?
I shut the door and immediately turned around face to face with Elena.
"Who is that?" She asked coming forward to go back outside.
I had to change the subject. She couldn't meet Damon not now, not ever.
"No one. Wrong address," I laughed leading her further into the house.
By the look on her face I could tell she wasn't buying it.
"Stephen you're lying to me," she mumbled shaking her head and looking at the floor. "Why is it so important that mystery boy doesn't know me? Why can't I know him?"
"Because!" I said annoyed by the constant pushing she was doing to get answers. "It would just complicate the situation a lot more."
"Why Stephen?!"
"Because!" I began but calmed my breathing and lowered my voice. "He's my brother."
Elena for a second looked confused.
"Your brother?" She asked sitting on the bottom wooden stair. "You never told me... you had a brother..."
"I know I wanted to but Damon and I don't really- we don't really get along him and I. I thought it would be better if he remained a secret-"
"Better?!" She jerked cutting me off as she stood and paced. "Better for you, me or him? In what way is this better Stephen?!"
"I know. I know. But if you knew Damon like I did you'd understand-"
"Know Damon? I don't know Damon because I didn't know he existed! That's your fault!"
"I know-"
"No im going to know," Elena said with a smile going towards the door.
"Going to know what?" I asked cautiously following her.
"Who Damon is," she smiled opening the door slightly as if warning that she would pass through it at any given moment.
"Elena please can we just talk about it," I begged knowing she would go.
She seemed amused by this as she laughed to herself sarcastically.
"Talk about it? Stephen what makes you think I'm going to believe you'll talk about him now? You had chances to mention your own brother but didn't. Not your first word, favorite color, family cat. Your brother!" She said running her hands through her hair trying to understand. I wish she would understand.
"I know I'm sorry but ask me anything. No more secrets!" I tried wanting to come up with another way of her knowing of Damon.
"No I want to meet him in person."
I tried to stop her but she wouldn't listen as she walked out the door she turned to say one last thing.
"I deserve to know about my boyfriends only brother."
And with that she walked closer to Damon who looked like he hadn't moved a muscle since we went inside.
I don't want to know how this is going to end. The look on Damons face is picking at me. What's his issue?
I followed Elena till we were face to face with Damon. His black hair fell into his eyes but he didn't move and inch.
"Hello?" Elena tried after he hadn't greeted her first.
Damon hadn't said anything as we stood there so I stepped in.
"This is Damon," I said to Elena. "Damon," I gritted turning to him. "This is Elena," I paused not knowing if I wanted him knowing about us. "My girlfriend," I finished as I waited for some 'Damon' like response.
Instead I got Damons glassy eyes glued on Elena who was catching on and just as questionable as I was.
"Are you alright?" She asked grabbing Damons arm.
Damon looked at her hand but quickly pulled his arm away.
"Fine."
That was it. All he had to say.
Then he went back to his glassy state as if he was pretending to be a statue.
Now this is just plain creepy.
"Elena," he finally spoke up looking into her eyes.
Here it comes flirting, insulting Damon.
"Have we met before?" He asked which took me rather off guard.
As I looked at Elena I see that it took her off guard as well.
"Sorry, I don't believe we have," she said looking confused.
Damon seemed panicky but then cool.
"Of course," he laughed. "Stephen never introduces me to his girlfriends- rather annoying."
Elena smiled and joined in, "I can tell."
Elena glanced at me and all I could do was shrug and look at the ground trying to save myself from the situation.
"Elena was it?" Damon asked asked if he couldn't hear either when we had come outside.
She nodded her head as she gave me the 'see this isn't so bad' face she tended to give me on a regular basis.
"Well Elena," Damon held out his arm askimg for his permission to escort her back to the house. "I'd love to hear more about you."
"Likewise," she laughed accepting the escort as they began walking back inside.
"Great," I said sarcastically following them.
This was going to go really good or horribly bad.
What I did know now was that Damon wasn't planning on leaving soon.
And that was defiantly on the horribly bad side of things.
This can't be happening right now.
