Clarke
"Okay, I'm ready! I'm going to call Wick and see if they're on their way!" John called out through the apartment.
I squeezed into my jeans and the small blue tank top I had bought for tonight. Once I was dressed, I added a little mousse to my curls, to keep them in place, and started on my make up. I added my new jewelry next and stepped out of my room, hearing Raven and Wick come in.
"Hey, guys!" I called as I made my way to the living room.
"Damn," Raven whispered. "You look freaking awesome."
"Yeah, you clean up good, Clarke," Wick nodded.
"I told you," John laughed. "Definitely have to hire that security team."
"Oh, hush!" I laughed. "Alright, let me get my phone and stuff really quick and we can head out. Who's DD?"
"Actually, we didn't think about that," Wick laughed. "Why don't we just take a cab? We can come back for our car tomorrow morning."
"Sounds good," John said. "I'll call while you get your stuff."
I nodded and headed back to my room to get my purse. I slid my cash and phone into my pockets and turned to leave when Raven walked in. "Shit, you scared me," I laughed. "What's up?"
"Did you dress for Bellamy?"
"Shockingly, no," I sighed. "For a split second I wanted to, to show him what he gave up, but it's been three months. I'm really over him. I have found my happiness now, and I think it may be difficult to see him at first, because I haven't seen him since that day, but I'm positive I'm going to be okay." I smiled and hugged her. "Thank you for checking on me, though."
"Okay, well I'm going to keep my eye out. Any drama, and I'm saving the day. Let's go."
Getting to Grounders only took about twenty minutes, there wasn't as much traffic as usual. The place must not have been as packed as usual yet, because there wasn't a line outside.
We stepped out into the night and John gripped my hand. He smiled at me reassuringly as we headed in, Raven and Wick behind us.
It was easy to spot Octavia and Lincoln, because he was the only person in an army suit. We made our way over there to them and Octavia almost spilled her drink to get to us.
"Clarke! Oh my god, it's been forever!" She squeezed me into a tight hug. "I'm so glad you came."
"Of course I came," I hugged her back. "I've missed you guys."
We all said our hellos as more people started showing up. Soon, we were all there, with Bellamy apparently on his way. I went to the bar and was shocked to see that Lexa had started working here.
"Wow," she smiled. "Who is that get up for?"
"It's for me," I smiled. "How are you? I didn't know you moved back into town. Are you still with Anya?"
"Nah," she shrugged. "We were going different ways, seems to be the story of my life," she laughed. "Where's your man, Bellamy?"
"Well, he isn't my man anymore." I shrugged. "He cheated and we have been apart for three months now."
"Piece of shit. I'm sorry," she said, searching my face. "Well, you've got your group over there, so what can I get you?"
"A bottle of beer and a mudslide, please."
She raised her brow but gave me what I asked for. "Enjoy. We need to catch up one day, text sometime."
I smiled and agreed before taking the drinks back to the table. I almost tripped when I saw who was approaching Octavia. Bellamy was with Gina, and he was definitely not looking his best. I looked for John, needing him, and he was already walking my way. "Here," I said, handing him his beer.
"Thank you," he said. "I was looking for you to see what you wanted. Lexa and Bellamy at the same time, huh?"
I shrugged. "I'll be okay." We stood over by Raven and Wick while Bellamy said his hellos to everyone.
"Well," Octavia started. "We're only here for a few days. Let's go have some fun." Everyone downed their drinks and left them on the table to go dance. Raven, Wick, John, and I found a spot on the dance floor and began dancing together. We laughed and enjoyed the music for awhile before I had to excuse myself.
"I'm going to the restroom, I will be right back," I said in John's ear. He nodded, so I headed to the restroom.
I washed my hands and checked my make up. Satisfied, I exited the bathroom, and was pulled to the side.
"So you're with Murphy now? Really?" Bellamy asked harshly.
I jerked out of his grip and sighed. "What business is it of yours? You're with Gina." I looked into his sunken eyes. "Good god, you've gone so far downhill."
Bellamy sighed and ran his hands through his hair. I used to love playing with his curls. "Well you walked out on me," he snapped.
"You insulted me in the worst ways possible and called it off! Not me."
"You burned our pictures, Clarke! We could've worked it out!"
"Ha!" I scoffed. "I know damn well you saw that I found someone's fucking shoes in our place, hidden might I add. I don't do threesomes, Bell." I sighed and adjusted my shirt. "Now if you'll excuse me," I turned to leave the hall but he pulled me back.
"I'm sorry. I know I messed up but I want you back. Just leave with me, we can leave Gina and Murphy. Come on," he whispered.
"Bellamy," I sighed. "You look like you need rehab again. Go take care of yourself, okay?"
"Don't go back to him, Clarke!" He yelled. "You're supposed to be with me!"
"Bellamy, let go of me!" I pulled away from him, but he wouldn't let go.
"What the fuck is going on here?" Gina's voice was suddenly beside us. "What are you doing with my boyfriend?"
I yanked away from Bellamy, holding my arm. "Stay the fuck away from me," I bit out and headed back to find John.
