She got up from the bed as easy as she could, trying her best not to move it. TJ didn't feel that well, he had a fever from teething & was very fussy, it took her an hour to put him to sleep for his nap. She exited the room & left the door open, she was determined not to wake her child up, so the less noise, the better. It was almost one in the afternoon & she had a radio interview to go to, she was already running late, which she hated but her family always comes first & the host will just have to understand that. She wanted to know if her mom & Chris wouldn't mind watching TJ for a couple of hours. She walked down the hall until she reached their bedroom door & turned the knob.
"Hey Ma, I was wondering if..." she was cut off instantly by Chris.
"Penda get out!" he shouted, as a naked Bernice climb off of him & covered them with the comforter.
"Taraji go!" Bernice shouted. "Go!" she repeated.
"I'm so sorry" she said as she quickly closed the door as fast as she had opened it.

About thirty minutes later, at this point she was beyond late, her mother finally emerged from her bedroom & into the kitchen, adjacent to the sitting area Taraji was sitting. She just kept smirking at her mother the whole time.
