"As he read, I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once." - John Green, The Fault In Our Stars.
Above is Douglas Booth, as Ryan Rutherford.

Chapter 2.
Kiara's
"Lily? Hey! What is it?!" I shout as I see her kneeling down and groaning in pain. What was happening to her? I have never seen her like this. That is when it strikes my head. Yes, she had told me about this. Was this because of that? Oh shit. Not a good news.
No no no. God not that please.
"Kai!" she again groans and that snaps me out of my thoughts. "Don't tell Pops now," She continues, "I...I will manage." And then she suddenly falls unconscious, murmuring something that I cannot understand.
I nod and quickly hold her shoulder. We need to get to the hospital quickly. I hope she has an emergency report in her bag.
We dash out of the school, ignoring some glances by other high schoolers, and get in the car. I give her some water to drink and she takes small gulps. I put the seatbelt around her and drive the car as fast as I can "God," I pray, "Please keep her safe. You know that incident wasn't her fault".
In no time, we reach the hospital. I go to the registry area and ask the person about it. They summon some nurses and assistants who quickly come with a wheelchair and take her inside the "EMERGENCY" room. After 2 minutes, a guy, whom I presume to be the doctor, comes towards me.
"Are you with her?" He asks in a husky tone, scratching his bald head. As if he has a lot of hair on his head. That's funny.
"Yes."
"Okay, you know about anything? I mean, any past accidents?"
I nod and search Lily's bag. I find the report and sigh in relief. Good that she has it. It would get too damn difficult to explain everything.
The doctor takes it from my hand and examines it. He raises his eyebrows in shock. Obviously he had to be shocked. He looks at me, and again looks back in the report. There is an awkward silence of a minute.
""This is...Okay." The doctor finally says and goes inside the room where Lily was taken.
I zip the bag and sit on a nearby chair. Shit, I hope she's fine. I'm damn sure the pain might have been excruciating. When Lily told me about it over Skype a month ago, I was shocked. And all she experienced was horrifying.
At first, when she told me she was coming to Orlando, I was so happy and excited about it. I already started doing happy dance inside me, when she suddenly burst into tears, and I was confused. She was reluctant at first to tell me, but I was hell bent on knowing why she was coming here. Not able to bear it all to herself, she finally told me about it.
Lily and her father have faced serious problems, which they shouldn't have. But the thing I liked was that even after all that, she remained strong and helped her father cope with everything. Only a strong girl can do it. I just hope the best for them, and I'll be always ready to help my best friend, no matter how bad the situation is.
