Chapter 4.

Lily"s

"So you don"t wanna remain my best friend anymore, huh?" Kai asked with suspicion. I have been trying to make her understand for so long. Eva was not present today, as she has not yet returned from her family trip.

"No, its nothing like that! You are my ride or die. But see, it's been almost a week in this school, and I thought that maybe, we should branch out and get new friends."

After some thought, she finally spoke up, "So do you mean like, Taylor Swift and her squad?"

"Ya perfect example! She posts pictures with almost everybody on the planet." I exaggerated.

"Okay, so like literal squad goals?!" She beamed.

"A.F Kai, AF!" Finally she got my point.

"But, how do we find them?" Kai says and looks into her watch.

"I... have an idea." And that is definitely gonna work.

And I pulled her out of the class. She definitely was confused about what I thought to do.

"And we can't do this together?" Kai was again confused.

"No, we can't! We need to Divide and Conquer! Plus, it's important that we pursue our own interests-"

She interrupted, "And what are our interests?"

"That's what we are going to find out!" I handed over a paper to her.

"What's this?"

"A list of all the clubs in our school, I got it from the janitor's room."

Kai quickly began examining it.

"Okay, so first is the Math Club? What do you think?"

Hell no. "No way, I suck at that!" I exclaimed.

One by one we came across many clubs. Keeping up with the Kardashians fan club, Music Club, Animal Care Club, Science Club.

No club was good enough for us.

"Let's do this, you take one copy of this, I will keep the other one, and we can find which one we like. " My ideas were always the best. I felt so smart!

"Okay", she said as we headed towards the xerox room.

Kai messaged me after some time saying that she joined the health club, which included giving injections and all, which I would never be interested in.
