Chapter 3.

Lily's

"You don't believe me? Just wait and watch, bitch!" I say and search for it in my bag.

'I hope you are joking, Lily. This is too good to believe!' Eva says, sounding too excited. Yeah, she had to be, this was so amazing!

"Don't give her a shit Eva, she's just playing around with us. Haven't you seen her face? She can't get that. No." Kai sucks oh her vanilla shake.

I ignore it and pick up the most precious and the most important box in my life. I had covered it in a piece of a newspaper, I really didn't want even a scratch on it. This was probably the best gift that I ever got from my aunt back in New York.

I slowly open the cover and turn my eyes towards Kiara. She had her gazed fixed on the box.

I stated proudly, "So now, I present before you, the most wanted and the most loved box by all the girls. Have a look, at the full birthday collection kit from kyliecosmetics.com!" I say and completely unwrap the kit.

"Oh mother fucking bitch this just can't be true! Am I dreaming?" I could clearly see the astonishment and surprise on Kai's face.

I slapped her, to much of her surprise " Well babe, you ain't dreaming." I remarked.

Eva almost jumped from her seat. "Oh my glob!" She touches the kit, as if trying to figure out if the thing in front of her is real or not. "Wow. Would you let me use it someday, pleaseeeee?" She makes a cute, puppy face.

"Umm... I guess," I look towards her. "No, sorry!" And stick out a tongue, teasing her.

Kai picked up the kit with full care, as if it was a newborn baby.

"Oh my gosh. Lily, you are seriously so lucky. This is so adorable!" She examines it for some time. "Lily, I'm seriously coming to your home today and try this thing out." Eva nods in equal excitement.

"Haha, of course! Why don't you two stay the night at my place?" I asked .

"Umm... I'll ask my mom about it first, then let you know." Kai says. Eva looks into her phone, and says after some thinking "I am so sorry, me and my family are going for some sightseeing and stuff."

We had been literally wasting our time in the canteen. But I think this was better than attending the Chemistry class of Ms.Lara (whom we call with love 'Grandma of Godzilla'). I think that by now she must have probably killed at least 10 students who didn't do their assignments, and another 7 who might have failed in a test.

Then there was a brief moment of silence between us, as we ate and sipped the delicious shakes and ice creams in front of us.

Suddenly Kai spoke up, "Hey! Did you hear about the recent fight?"

"Which fight? The one between Selena and Justin on Instagram?" I say and look towards Eva, who is also confused.

"No stupid, the one in our school! You remember that guy, Ryan? He was up against some random guy in the dance team, I don't remember his name." She said with excitement.

Suddenly Eva snaps, understanding everything. "Oh yeah, I know! Everyone was talking about it. Ryan and...that guy... his surname is some Bradshaw I suppose."

"Ahh, this seems cool. Any more news?" I ask.

"I then heard that actually neither of them won, but that random guy was suspended from the school for a day!" Eva says.
